Tika Taka was what I had my head set on, until it said I had to use ‘balanced’ attack. Surely it would make more sense as a ‘possession’ attack style. Custom all the way for me.
How do you customise it though. I went into tactics as normal to try and customise my attack and defence style and it messed everything up with the coaches and players because all of a sudden i wasnt adhering to the Gegenpressing style. I really dont like the pre sets.

Balanced attack literally says people move when the situation arises, possession is to keep the ball regardless, i understand how people confuse tiki taka and possession but they are very different play styles

Since they are Partner Club with Bayern Academy and often Loan Young Players from them Im Gonna do that. Theyre coach also was at Bayern Women before.

Just choose balance then in formation give all your players direction such as for a cam you can have him do forward runs and say you play 4-3-3 you can set the wide forwards to get behind but you'll need to recruit speed and trust me it works well.

I kinda like those tbh. It's a pain in the ass to change the formations and. Instructions for each one. But it's good. I use 5 at the back fur defensive tactics and 4 at the front for ultra attacking. Usually start my games against top teams score a couple. Change it to ultra defensive and then put it on sim. Easy to win matches that way and you don't have to play the whole game.
The thing with wing play vision is that it gives you more freedom with almost everything (pressing style, chance creation etc), but your wingers will start every move out wide, eg: i played 4-2-3-1 and even tough the wingers were instructed to cut inside, when you start the play with a centre back, then pass the ball to the holding midfielder and they are still almost hugging the touchline. When i played tiki taka and instructed the left midfielder/winger to cut inside he stays in the left half space from the moment a midfielder gets the ball. The idea with wing play is to stretch the opposition back line, therefore i still prefer the custom tactics where you can get to place your players exactly where you want them to be (especially on balanced or possession chance creation)

Its not an easy thing to teach an AI to do, AI learns things whereas total football is based off of intuition, and thats extremely difficult and near impossible atm to teach an AI

hey, if you keep playing with a particular style your coaches will eventually learn it, and start giving your players boost. you can also buy silver/golden coaches which should already provide boosts
@kubakk Hey thanks for the info. I have just gone Tiki Taka atm as i find just keeping the ball easier than having to always defend although i am shipling goals recently maybe its just a skill issue. I have not gone for a fully custom Tactical vision yet as it confused me with the coaches but maybe as i get more comfortable with the game i will.

@@MitchlovejoyDont worry bro, every new game is a slight learning curve, i concede up to 5-6 goals at the start of every fifa but if you dont want to be too stressed about it, pick similar teams or teams with the play styles and play a bunch of kick off matches, they dont have the stress of needing to winnor be sacked plus you’ll learn the habbits the Cpu has and should help a lot 👍

Im just so used to having everything how i want it and now with these career mode pre sets it just feels limiting. You can change all those with instructions ding bat. All vision does is limit your choices in the tactics tab.

i personally use gegenpress because it has everything i’d use if i was a manager, and i usually will use a 433, 3142, 523, or 4231.

Bug at the moment where the game freezes if you sack a coach. I think it’s best to wait for all 4/5* ones
