Townsville is Crime City, it probably has the highest rate of house break ins in Australia. And the amount of d-heads on the road is amazing, the Townsville drivers get upset over nothing. I only drive into Townsville when I have to, always great to drive out of Townsville, and get back to peace & calmness

Townsville was my home for 16 months. I miss most are the people strangers greet you in the street but like all places it has its flaws my biggest bugbear was Employers Not Responding to Job applications it took me four months to find a job which was managed by a boss who had no respect for boundaries/RDOs/fair work rulings and employment contract clauses. If it wasnt for this clown I'd still be living in this great city instead of having to moving back to New Zealand
