  • I had a scan done at ME3D in Minneapolis, MN back in March, 2018, and I wanted to show off some of the resulting prints! Definitely a cool experience, and I'm glad I went! MORE BELOW -------↡↡↡↡

    Dec. 8, 2020---Thanks for the video as I've seen other who have the same thing done to them in NYC for example. But what does this cost?

    • @AndrewSink
      @AndrewSink  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's a cool process for sure! The cost varies, but it's typically based on the amount of resin used in printing the object and the complexity of the mesh-editing process.

    I like it. Last time I saw color 3-D printing was on the today show some years ago,and that printer used a powder to print 3-D objects

    • @AndrewSink
      @AndrewSink  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yup, the prints in that store were made with powder (that process is called Binder Jetting). The ones I have are made with PolyJet technology, which directly jets the color photopolymer. It's cool stuff!
