This is so wild! This is a classic for sure! The marinade, the most tender cut of meat, served with fresh berries, and THE CLOCKS!! It's like a Salvador Dali painting but a cooking show.
So full disclosure, I made the Chicken Cherry Baguette burgers - but not the baguette part, obviously, I'm not insane. I'm in Australia and we don't get frozen cherries here, and we only get fresh cherries for about 4 hours a year, so I had to use dried cherries that I boiled to reconstitute them. So those changes aside, they're weren't that bad, oddly enough I couldn't really taste the cherries, or the rosemary which I thought would have overpowered the whole thing. They were fine. Have I made them again? No. But they weren't anywhere near as awful as you would think, they were perfectly edible. Oh yeah , I did skip the Cherry Jam mayonnaise, because we don't have Cherry jam here. Cherries are just not a 'thing' here like they are in the US, and I'm not making Jam, I'm too semi-ho for that. I'm not trying to defend this Blackberry and Herb Filet Mignon, just to be clear.
@@androgyny77hey if you're ever interested in a cherry recipe again, you can can get jarred cherries in the supermarket that work really well for baking and cooking
Im lucky enough to have the opportunity to have this before. it does sound and looks weird because of the meat and berries, but its actually taste good. Not the best steak in the world, but its good. Its savoury and a little bit sweet and sour
I just feel like every steak making rule was broken. Completely wet, only butter in the pan, sugar in the marinade from the berry juice so it'll burn even faster, marinating an expensive cut to start with, etc. Still love you Aunt Sandy.
The whole recipe was weird, especially for filet mignon but why did she proceed to dump a whole bunch of raspberries and blackberries all over the steaks?!?!?! That was truly strange....a couple maybe for garnish would've sufficed.....really odd...

Dali, absolutely!!!! She should have displayed some of the clocks upside down.
Those clocks will going to melt. She will eventually cook them.
The final garnishing sent me so hard oml 💀
Just saw the title of this one and knew I had to watch immediately. It did not disappoint
I... Obviously, don't watch this for the cooking, I just love Sandy's vibes so much!
The fruit presentation that they show at they beginning makes the filets look like burnt French toast
Yeah just some berries thrown on top. She couldn’t at least cook them down into a sauce? It would still be nasty but it wouldn’t look so strange.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was incinerated French toast.
This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen her do and that is really saying something. Unreal. A travesty.
This russipie might be up there with the Chocolate Steak and Chicken Cherry Baguette burgers…
instant classic for sure

I'm sorry... did you say CHOCOLATE STEAK?!?!
@@victoriamckenzie6352 you heard right and did I mention it also had taco seasoning and French onion mix packets in it?
A sentient being died for this omg
Between the clocks and vinegary, alcoholic, berry meat i feel like im being institutionalized.
😂😂
Berry meat lol
It is like self-parody: the expensive cuts of meat ruined, the obscure ingredients in the marinade, the obvious voiceovers, and that mound of berries.
not to mention the obscene amount of clocks in the background
This is why I love Aunt Sandy!
Those steaks never saw it coming. RIP steakies.😢
I love flamin' yone 😍😍
I never tought I'd hear black berry abd herbs de provence in the same sentence
Imagine splurging on filet mignon and this is what you do to it. 😭
Im lucky enough to have the opportunity to have this before. it does sound and looks weird because of the meat and berries, but its actually taste good. Not the best steak in the world, but its good. Its savoury and a little bit sweet and sour
that marinade is potent af ... so much flavor!
*fantastic flavors
So much flavor you can see all of it
Flllllavor
the box of cereal at the front really sets the stage. Got me scared before she even started.
This is a fever dream
If someone had the nerve to serve me filet mignon like that, I’m calling the cops. 😢
Buh…lllllllACKberry…I have to say this before I even continue watching.
Aunt Sandy really I want all the liquor and all the seasonings 🤠🤠🤠
1:21 Now turn your head and cough.
Noooo Stahp!
💯 😅

In a non stick pan too 💀
3:29 the camera caught Aunt Sandy sliding a burnt marinaded blackberry/raspberry off the steak & into the skillet. 🤯 lol
Which intern wrote this ruuucipe? I want names.
Is 'zesty herb mix' a thing?
It's probably at the same store as her champagne extract
Yes. It's usually used to make Italian dressing.
That clock has got to go girl.
not a soaking clock
Classoc aunt sandy using frozen shit when she has the exact same ingredient fresh on hand
I've figured out what the theme for this episode is. It's "Fever Dream"
The whole recipe was weird, especially for filet mignon but why did she proceed to dump a whole bunch of raspberries and blackberries all over the steaks?!?!?! That was truly strange....a couple maybe for garnish would've sufficed.....really odd...
girl... what is this...
So funny !
This recipe is called "How to DESTROY a lux cut of beef"
I... I....I don't know what to say 😢
Oh god. She must be constantly blitzed from all the “free pouring.” That’s the only way this show could make any sense.
She was tea bagging that zip lock!
4:18 blueberry steak???
"strawburry" steak? 🍓 🥩 lol
Why are there so many clocks on the wall? Psych ward vibes.
Time is running out…
She sets one to go off at 5 every hour so she can have cocktail time.
let's go!
it bothers me how much air the bag with the fillets had
All of those ingredients and no salt or pepper.
The steak doesn’t look bad. But whyyy all that fruit as toppings?
Wait, so is it zesty herb or lemon and herb?
Between this and the cherry chicken burgers, not sure how this show ever made it past season 0.
I mean this is from the later seasons where the recipes got truly unhinged, early Semi Homemade is pretty tame in comparison.
Sandy, you don’t have to marinate cuts of meat that are tender to begin with.
I love giants clocks
wtf ?? lol
Why does she keep saying black and raspberry vinegar?
A real doozy this time I see
the one recipe that can call for wine and she doesn't use it
That clock curtain is hideous and that mound of berries she threw on the steaks in the end was WEIRD. WTF!!!
She is still the Queen of America though!
listen i know i'm an uncultured swine from the midwest but this is just wrong
omg fruit meat AGAIN, sandy??
"BLLLOCKBURRY" oh my god girl
