I know this wasn't a highly requested song, but I chose this one mainly because of how catchy the vocal melodies are, and how relatively accessible it is (in my opinion). Next will most likely be Right In Two, Lateralus, and some others I've seen commented a lot (Parabol / Parabola... etc.). And if you liked the song in the intro of the video you can support us on any streaming platform, we're in a band called LemonTech. Links and social media pages in the description :)
Right in Two is a no brainer. Vicarious cause its just solid and timeless Jambi, Aenema, The Grudge And then as a finale you make her think of her mom and what she would do if she died. Tell her MJKs moms story and then play wings for marie1+2. :>
Hearing a Tool song is so amazing but really LISTENING and ANALYZING a Tool song is where it goes beyond amazing. This song is criminally underrated BTW.
How Maynard comes up with those melodies that don't fit but sweetly flow within the chaos of everything... it's amazing! and the lyrics "Counting steps away form you".
"Who composes this stuff?" Danny, Adam, and Justin jam together and craft the music. It's very much a group effort. Then they give completed instrumental tracks to Maynard, eho comes up with vocals for each track. He sings where he wants to, and often surprises the band with where vocals are and aren't placed. There's a little bit of back and forth after that. Sometimes the music is reworked to extend or repeat a section to accomodate the lyrics. Sometimes you get tracks like Descending, where all the lyrics fit into the first half of the song, and Maynard's content to leave the last 6-7 minutes as instrumental.
Been listening to TOOL since the first EP. And when I heard this song, I cried like a tiny little baby. It's still my favorite song off this album. I get why people love the other songs... they're flashier. But this is perfection to me.
I literally adore this song, but in my opinion the true masterpiece of this latest album that will remain imprinted in the hearts of fans is Invincible. I think you should propose this to her.
Loving your dual journey through Tool. Your comments about predictability are spot on. Tool really care about crafting unique journeys through soundscapes that are constantly evolving, sometimes subtlety, sometimes boldly. Quick suggestion, there's a lot of high frequency echo going on when you two are talking, a rug or something sound deadending somewhere in the space would help!
Yes! Totally agree. We are installing sound panels and getting some rugs soon! We had cleared out this room to make a home studio, but at the time of filming we had still not put the sound treatment in, it should be a lot better very soon :)
I’m seeing them next Friday night, for the 4th time. They’re playing my hometown, which is so cool. The last time I saw them was monster mash, Oct 31, 2015 in Tempe. Literally the best 4 days of my life. Check out the set list for that festival. Once in a lifetime for me. Tool were amazing, in full costume. But the highlight of the shows was the hungover Sunday morning set. Puscifer followed by Deftones. My jaw was on the floor for about 3 hours straight.
This diamond should be in your collection. I would like to share with you my discovery. The voice of amazing beauty, power and depth, crystal clear, I heard from a beautiful girl and was fascinated by her. She has about 70 victories in various vocal competitions. If you understand what it is to sing with soul, then this is about her. Diana also has a huge army of fans, and reactions are gaining tens and hundreds of thousands of views. The total number of reactions on TH-cam to Diana is about 18 thousand. (all collected in my playlists) On October 1, the premiere of a stunningly beautiful OST video for the song “Baikal” took place on Diana Ankudinova’s TH-cam channel. The soundtrack performed by Diana became the main musical theme of the film “The Spirit of Baikal,” which will be released in wide release on October 19, 2023. In the film itself, Diana voiced two roles - the spirit of Lake Baikal and the voice of the soul of the deceased mother of the main character of the film. The film received several top awards at film festivals. Baikal is the deepest, oldest, freshwater lake on Earth (22-23 percent of all fresh surface water), it is a place of power, the spiritual center of shamans, different religions - Shamanism , Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, a pristine place not yet touched by civilization. Have yall listened to any Puscifer? I gained a whole new appreciation for Maynard’s voice when coupled with Carina’s. Grand Canyon, Apoctalyptical, or the Humbling River is a good start
I know this song isnt literally about inoculations but very prescient considering it was released months before the covid 19 pandemic.....and shout out to Justin chancellor on bass...heavily influenced by pink floyds Roger Waters
Couldn’t really recommend anything of theirs in particular, everything is good individually but all fit meaningfully into their respective albums as well.

Do as many as you can before Lateralus. Make that the final song.
Pick the songs that work the best for you guys. That’s all that matters 👍
You could do the 2 song combo of Intension and Right in Two as a twofer special...Hint, hint...nudge, nudge..LOL
first off, welcome back, it's been a while.
may i suggest giving her "Third Eye" next, not just because of her shirt :D

If she likes the "experience/journey" type of song, then Descending is the one.
Or the holy trinity
This is the way
Neither of them are ready for the trinity…
@@michaelrandall2490 he did the trinity like years ago

I'll never forget he sang "mitosis" literally at half way through the song. So awesome.

The Grudge and The Patient I think should be st the front of the line up. Exhale Expel section is so T00L. Love this song. Great video.

I also cried my head off, wholy shit. That was a long long time ago.
I literally adore this song, but in my opinion the true masterpiece of this latest album that will remain imprinted in the hearts of fans is Invincible. I think you should propose this to her.
Absolutely. Invincible is one of the best rock songs ever written. Invincible and Pneuma are two of the best Tool songs ever imo.
You guys really need to watch the Pneuma drum cam!!
I love this song
It’s so dope watching her go through the journey. I’m here for all of it. Commenting for the algo.
Always an adventure
Their soundscapes are just so unreal and hypnotizing
Danny Carey drum cam please!! Love the two of yours's reactions and so glad your back man, I've seen every Tool video you've done from the beginning!

Pneuma really deserves a look too, I really love the trip you end up being taken on.

Should have her listen to Pnuma next.
Nah. They should do ‘Jerk Off’ next. Let’s get some actual variety.
Great reaction!

Going as well. Been wanting to see them since 92, and this will be my first tool concert. So looking forward to it!
"Does anybody remember Napster?"
