When I go to journal in my craft room, I put your videos on the big screen and craft for hours!!! Thank you for being an amazing inspiration especially during this weird time we live in!!! You anchored a lot of people!!!! Be blessed!
I just love and appreciate all the time you devote to helping us learn. Thank your husband and Jimmy Joe for sharing their time Gayle time with us. Hugs girlfriend, and instead of saying have a blessed day I am stealing your line from now on...... have a grateful day! I just love that. Be blessed Ms. Gayle be blessed.
So cute Mrs. Gayle, i really enjoy the craft with me videos. Im watching all of your older ones. Im sure i will have to re watch a few when i get back to crafting. Tfs and crafty hugs
I agree totally about the kids playing with stuff. Stuff is stuff, experiences are what matters. Those kiddos will remember their time in your craft room for the rest of their lives. Besides, it looks like the pad is working just fine!
Oh yes, Gayle, it is very FUN, please don't ever think it's not!!! I could sit here and watch you do it all....all day long. I learn so much from you plus even more important, I really love seeing your results. You have such an eye for beauty and every single thing you do is interesting and enjoyable!!!
Hi Gayle…I only recently got on here and found you….I have a craft room since all our kids are raised and I took about a1/4 of the room and made it for the kids. They have their own brushes, paper, makers, paints and so forth….I gave them about everything they need to make something beautiful or not….wink…But beautiful to me…My one Granddaughter Eden Selena was home from California and as they were leaving to fly out, she looked at me and said “Ohhhhh Mammie I just love this room”. Oh be quiet my heart…Now she is in Texas so will be able to get her to Ohio a little more frequently…I have 20 grandkids but only 5 little ones… What a blessing it is…I need to tea dye some more things, but I work at Interpreting for the Dead and also am a Pastor along side my husband….Hugs to you..Love you page. Oh and you won’t go to the wedding supply area, until those Grandkids grow up a little more…We have 4 of 20 married now and two more this fall…It goes fast for sure.
Hello Gail. I have never watched a video of yours and kept thinking I wish she would hurry up, I love the time you share with us. You are a very gifted crafter and the little tips you share as you go along are tidbits of joy. Thank you so much for taking time to share with us!
Love your "thinking out loud" videos, it helps corral my scattered brain! Ya know Gayle, the distress ink is 6.99 and replaceable, the memories you made with your granddaughters is irreplaceable and priceless. Sending you prayers for a speedy recovery to your surgery.
Your craft with me videos are fun and informative and comfortable. I would happily keep watching no matter how long they might be. When you say, "I have an idea", I look forward to seeing what you will come back with. I'm so sorry to hear about the health challenges coming up for you and your family; sending healing thoughts and love. 💜
I enjoy craft with me also. It is like having you right in the room with me. My granddaughters and my youngest grandson loves being with me in the craft room. My youngest granddaughter found out she loves to paint here recently. I don't get to see that one often since she doesn't live close but she knows what I let her do and she loves coming here. It makes me extremely happy
Yes, love the craft with me videos. As a very new journal maker, I need all the ideas and help I can get. I have crafted most of my life, and have done scrapbooks and cards, so journaling is a different direction for me. Love all the vintage looking stuff you put in the books. Started to "collect things" to make ephemera. Thanks for taking the time to do these videos. Hugs - Becky
I love to walk into my craft room after my gks have gone home and I catch glimpses of what they've been up to. It's like little hugs from them. Mine know the rules, too.
Gayle, today is my first time watching you and I am so impressed. I learned a lot and you have the perfect speaking voice. I can't wait to watch part 2 , you are inspiring!! I am working on my first junk journal...Have a blessed day.
I really like you showing what to do with things from her shop and like you I need to be busy to not be cranky. I watched your coffee dying video and am busy coffee dying and watching your videos and printing out ms cogs little girls. Thank you so much for showing us. I just love the craft with me time
true Gayle, don't worry about the time we love watching u making the stuff and how u put things together and everything, if I don't have time to watch whole video in one shut I just come back to it or something, please keep these videos coming Gayle :-) :-) :-)
Thank you so much Gayle, I really love 💕 the craft with me, and I really love 💕 all those ephemera’s that you’ve made. I really hope you’re husband gets better soon and you’re shoulder too.....it’s no fun being in constant pain it really drags you down doesn’t it. And you moan away, it’s so nice to tell people about it, it always seems to work for me. xx Mags
I love watching you as I cut pictures out of magazines and plan my next art book. I just discovered Altered book art recently. I injured my shoulder a few years ago and had to give up mural painting. Making art/ collage books lets me be creative and I can gather all the bits and pieces I love into books. My scrap hording has become art.
My first time watching a video with you and I also have a little granddaughter who crafts with me and she is very carefully with my things as well as her own crafy things. Fun video and thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing and taking the time for these craft with me vids. I love & enjoy watching them. Always a fun time. I wouldn't mind if they were 5 hours long 😅 & good luck with your surgery. I'll keep you in my prayers and hope you will get well soon. Xo
Marie HEARTS Life thank you, sweetie, for the thoughts and prayers! I'm a big chicken, so anxious about it. I'm sure it will all be just fine! And thanks for your sweet comments on the video! I love spending time with my crafting buddies on You Tube! Hugs! ❤️
OMG, I learned so much from your videos, especially this one. I'm new at this, been collecting, now I know what to do with it all. Thank you so much,& your so relaxing to watch & listen to. On to #2.
I have spent the afternoon watching your videos. I especially love the craft with me videos. You are so knowledgeable and creative. At one point I dozed off and when I woke up I still had the headphones on and you were chatting away. You have a soothing voice and so much fun listening to. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. :D
Oh such a sweet comment, Robin! Thank you! I'm glad I talked you to sleep this afternoon!! 😂😂😂. Thank you for taking time to send along such affirming and kind comments! Hugs! ❤️
I have had that same button trim for millennia. I thought it was so cute and had to have it. I have never used it as I did not know what to do with it. Now I know, use it in a junk journal. Gosh these tags are just adorable. Gayle, I just hated to hear of your impending surgery but know in the end you will be happy when it is over an you can truly start healing. I sure can understand getting cranky when life gets in the way of the things we love. I wish I lived closer to you I would bring you vegetable soup and warm cornbread.
Oh, my sweet friend, you warm my heart! Just the thought that you'd bring me soup and cornbread is enough to make me feel better! This too shall pass. Truthfully, I'm just a little scared. What they need to do In there turns my stomach for sure. And I sure don't want to miss any crafting time! Hugs to the sweetest friend ever! ❤️
I am sorry to hear about your shoulder pain. I hope you will get well. In these situations it is important to stay positive, so I wish you to stay positive no matter what. Thank you again for your craft with me video. I still need to catch up on part 2 :) just making a right time for that :) Take care.
Gayle, I enjoy watching your process videos because I not only learn something new every time, but I craft along with you and I don't feel alone. I've yet to find anyone in my area that does the junk journals and vintage crafts, so I have nobody to share the fun with. Love that button and lace Hobby Lobby trim. So cute! Sorry to hear about your shoulder. Hope your husband and granddaughter recover quickly. Sweet and simple! Love the tags! As always, TFS, Gayle!
I really love these craft with me, would also be nice if you would do some live stream. TFS and all the inspiration you give us all. It is almost like you have someone to craft with when you do these. Thank you again. :)
Thanks so much, Patricia! I have no earthly idea how to do a livestream! Your crafty friend is not very techie!! Don't know how to edit my videos either! So there you go. Maybe I'll learn someday, but I'm always to busy making journals to mess around with the computer! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Really enjoyed myself watching you create Gayle. I'm saving part 2 for tomorrow. Do you by any chance have a video on the materials you use? (tags, labels, glues, papers, those gorgeous little peach flowers, stamps, etc?). I would be very interested to see that.
Gayle, I'm late getting to this video but it's so fun and helpful. When I was watching you distress the edges of miscellaneous things, all of a sudden I thought how cool if Tim (or ?) would design a tool that would be easily accessed and ready to go.....no lids to take off or put back on! What do you think? PS: I'm so hooked on your videos! xo
Gail, I’ve seen some crafters take groups of Pages and clip them together to make room in the folio. Do you think this is a good idea or unnecessary time used.? I’m getting ready to make my first. Watched your 2 videos many times. I think I’m ready! Thanks Norma Jean
Thanks Gayle! I'm a new subbie and really enjoyed this. You have quite the stash to work withand I'm collecting more guest checks and stuff also, so it's nice to know I'm not crazy for gathering just "trash", lol! I am going looking at Denise ' s shop. Tfs!
Gayle, I love watching your videos. I have learned so much from you. I swear we must live close because of your weather comments. I live in a township surrounding Erie., PA. We sure had a rough winter.
Hi Brenda! I'm your friend from the west! I live in Helena, Montana! We are both northern, so maybe we get some of the same weather patterns. Thanks for watching, sweetie! ❤️
I love your channel and l watch it all the time. I'm having a hard time hearing you when you move around. I don't know if it's your microphone. Just wanted to let you know. Keep on crafting! 😊 Thank you 💓
I love your craft with me videos. I love hearing you talk about your process. You have such a calming voice. Hey maybe your crafty time will be part of your PT!! I hope you feel better soon.
There you go, Tanya! I love that idea...crafty time as part of my therapy. All that reaching for ephemera goodies has to count for something right? Happy Easter, my dear! ❤️
I love the button trim from Hobby Lobby....I wonder if I can still find it there.... hmmmm.... gonna take a good look next time ai get there! These cards/tags are adorable❤️❤️❤️
Found you through Brooke at ReCreations by Brooke and so happy I did!! Fabulous process video. I do enjoy watching others while they work and listening to the thought behind each piece. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. Can't wait to peruse the rest of your channel. You have made some beautiful items. Thanks again, Elizabeth
Welcome, Elizabeth! I'm glad you're here! I think I'm well over 200 videos now, so plenty to keep you busy! 😂😂😂. I love all my crafting buddies from You Tube, so glad to have a new friend! Thanks to Brooke for heading you my way! Hugs! ❤️
Love these! I am crafting along with you but working on something a bit different. I look forward to making some of these tags! Hope everyone feels better soon! Just thought I'd share that my husband recently had shoulder surgery for a major tear and a couple smaller ones. He really didn't want to have it done but he didn't have a choice. He is pretty much back to what he was able to do before the surgery and no pain! Be sure and do your PT! He is very active and has to lift heavy objects with his work. He is also back to doing his full work outs along with pull ups and chin ups everyday! He is really happy he had it done!
Thanks so much, Susan, for sharing your husbands story! I'm so nervous about it! But I've had pain for over a year and been doing PT for four months, so am ready to get it fixed!! Your husbands results make me feel better. Thank you!! ❤️
Dear Gail- I’m 79 and had a total new shoulder- painful to do therapy- I did 3 sessions at home a day- 25 minutes each session and 2x a week at physical therapy. Great results, almost full range of motion and only pain when I would over do…. At 6 weeks. Wish I had not waited. Was not able to craft for the first 4 weeks. Cold from ice machine 19:35 was my best help with pain😢 you will be glad you had it repaired. You will be missed but we will wait for you…💕
I love all of your ideas and hope u do not mind if I borrow some of them! I hope you and your family recover as quickly as possible. Have a happy Easter tomorrow.
Thank you, Rita, and Happy Easter to you too! And please, borrow away! That's why I do these videos, so others might be inspired to try some of the ideas. It makes my heart feel good to share! ❤️
I am new to journal crafting and LOVE to watch you work, its very educational. I learn with visuals and love how you take us with you on the journey instead of just telling us how it was done. There is so much work (but fun work) just trying to start collecting items to start a stock pile and then coffee dye EVERYTHING lol. I LOVE IT!!!!! :D I seem to see EVERYTHING in a new light, things i see including clothes I try to envision using in a junk journal.
april drust I just started journaling to and I always wonder where they get all the stuff like guest tickets, time cards etc. Even layaway tags those are neat, can be very addicting as well LOL, but I love making junk journals 😁
@Etta J I love shopping at thrift stores and find so many things to use in journals. also look on smile amazon for guest checks and paper dolls and all kinds of stuff, just type in what you want and 9 times out of 10 amazon has it lol. also look at office supplies at walmart and you can find lots of stuff too. ohhh and hobby lobby has great stuff but have to wait for the sale or use 40% coupon. for real vintage stuff try antique stores, sometimes things can be cheap because they need to make booth cost and dont forget dollar tree, everything is only $1 such as doilies, papers, glues, ribbons, tapes, BOOKS all sizes- use for covers and book page tea/coffee stained deco ..... hope this helps you find some things easier
april drust thank you so much, I watch all these videos and want to make everything I see 😁 but it can become a little pricey and I don't know anyone who makes journals or journals except the people I see on social media , I love crafting so I thought I would try my hand at journaling and making some myself for fun and to keep myself busy
Wal-Mart has guest checks and tickets..but large rolls...found tickets at a thrift store and at one of the $1 00 stores...maybe Dollar General...One never knows when great Junque will show up!!!
Gayle, I love your work and since I am just watching this and it is now 2020 how is your shoulder? Sometimes I just like making EPHEMERA also, in fact having a hard time getting my mojo going this year. Love ya work girl.
Great tutorial, but how do you go about getting all of the tickets, guest checks etc? as I'm from the UK we don't have stuff like that, but i would like to get some, thanks
Lyn Griffiths you might try Etsy. You can find most anything! I know the postage will be more for the UK, but you should find tickets, guest checks etc. some of my favorite shops are A Tattered Dream and Pretty Pink Cottage. ❤️
Enjoyed this video. I can commiserate with you regarding your shoulder. I'm between knee replacement surgeries. I'll be having my second surgery later this month. I'm not looking forward to it, but I know I'll be so much better off when it's done. So I wish you the best with yours.
You are in my prayers. Get it done, take good care of yourself and you will be back in no time. Not fun but you have such a good attitude. You will do great. I will sure be here waiting for your return. Love and prayers..... Donna
Cathy Forbes the glue is FabriTac or FabriFix (name depends on where you buy it, but it seems to be the same product). I like it because it dries quickly and securely affixes fabric to any surface. ❤️
Gayle I noticed you had those little girl prints like a 4 by 5. Did they come that way or did you enlarge them? Plus what etsy had them.? I'm sorry, I'm a pain. Just trying to learn. Oh man how did you get those pictures on the tickets? So cute
Hi Nancy! So sorry for the late reply....I just saw this comment! The. Little girl prints are digital prints Artymaze as are the tickets! I downloaded them from her Etsy shop. ❤️
Hi Charlean! I just finished up the journal. I hope to do a video today. And thanks for the sympathies! I'm going to get this silly shoulder right, if it takes me forever! Have a wonderful day and Happy Easter, my friend! ❤️
Gayle do you dunk those guest checks in the order die or pray them? I wondered because they are so light in weight. Also did you print the little girl images from printrest?
I just found your videos, and I love them. I just might try to watch all of them! ( : Would you mind sharing the brand of glue in the clear tube with a purple lid? It looks easy to use.
marilynp2 Hi there and welcome to my channel! I'm glad you're here! The glue is Aileen's clear glue. I do love the upside down design, so the glue is always ready to use! Hugs! ❤️
I enjoyed watching your process making these! What roller stamp did you use on that brown paper? I love that idea and would love to find that stamp! xo
artzology oh gosh, all of my roller stamps came from garage sales, so....maybe it's a Stampin Up? Sorry I'm not more help on that! Thanks for watching! ❤️
When I go to journal in my craft room, I put your videos on the big screen and craft for hours!!! Thank you for being an amazing inspiration especially during this weird time we live in!!! You anchored a lot of people!!!! Be blessed!

Really like these Craft with me.
I really enjoy your craft with me videos. It is fun to craft with you! Loving your project.
I love the button trim from Hobby Lobby....I wonder if I can still find it there.... hmmmm.... gonna take a good look next time ai get there! These cards/tags are adorable❤️❤️❤️
I love your videos. I shop the kids section, the wedding and the party section a lot for stuff. Never use it like it supposed to though. LOL
You will be missed but we will wait for you…💕
😮oh delete 19:35. Ha where did that come from?
I love all of your ideas and hope u do not mind if I borrow some of them! I hope you and your family recover as quickly as possible. Have a happy Easter tomorrow.
Thank you, Rita, and Happy Easter to you too! And please, borrow away! That's why I do these videos, so others might be inspired to try some of the ideas. It makes my heart feel good to share! ❤️
Hi hun, i do my eyelets by hand too. But i have a 2 to 3 inch wide board its long
I hammer on it it works great. Any bor ad will work.
@Etta J I love shopping at thrift stores and find so many things to use in journals. also look on smile amazon for guest checks and paper dolls and all kinds of stuff, just type in what you want and 9 times out of 10 amazon has it lol. also look at office supplies at walmart and you can find lots of stuff too. ohhh and hobby lobby has great stuff but have to wait for the sale or use 40% coupon. for real vintage stuff try antique stores, sometimes things can be cheap because they need to make booth cost and dont forget dollar tree, everything is only $1 such as doilies, papers, glues, ribbons, tapes, BOOKS all sizes- use for covers and book page tea/coffee stained deco ..... hope this helps you find some things easier
april drust thank you so much, I watch all these videos and want to make everything I see 😁 but it can become a little pricey and I don't know anyone who makes journals or journals except the people I see on social media , I love crafting so I thought I would try my hand at journaling and making some myself for fun and to keep myself busy
wow such fabulous ideas and ephemera! Love it!
Enjoyed the video, I was wondering where you can get all the tickets, guest checks, layaway tickets, etc..Thanks for sharing. Happy crafting!
I bought Guest Checks at Cash and Carry, here in the Seattle/King County areas. They also have doilies and deli sheets!
Wal-Mart has guest checks and tickets..but large rolls...found tickets at a thrift store and at one of the $1 00 stores...maybe Dollar General...One never knows when great Junque will show up!!!
God bless you dear. You are an amazing person stay strong God will always be there for you and hold you tight in his arms.
Hi Gayle, love all your craft with me sessions. Where do you get that button trim ?
Rebekah, I get the button trim at Hobby Lobby! 😄❤️
You have some great ideas! First time viewer!
Gayle, I love your work and since I am just watching this and it is now 2020 how is your shoulder? Sometimes I just like making EPHEMERA also, in fact having a hard time getting my mojo going this year. Love ya work girl.
Hi Gayle🖐🏻👋🏻This was fun to watch!! It turned out beautiful!! TFS💕😊🐚gracie
Thanks, Gracie! Hugs to you, my dear! ❤️
Very information and inspiring. Would like to see you make items that are not always some thing from a kit.
I love that trim with the buttons on it! Please so something with napkins soon.
Love spending time with you!
Gorgeous!
Great ideas! Do you or someone you know of have a youtube video on bunching up material and sewing it?
Robin, the ruffled fabric on the side of the card is a trim from Hobby Lobby. It comes already ruffled and sewn! ❤️
Enjoyed this video. I can commiserate with you regarding your shoulder. I'm between knee replacement surgeries. I'll be having my second surgery later this month. I'm not looking forward to it, but I know I'll be so much better off when it's done. So I wish you the best with yours.
Thank you, Elaine! Wishing you the best with your surgery too! Here's to a speedy recovery for both of us! Sending healing hugs! ❤️
I have a stash of old Christmas note/cards, what can I do with them. HELP, just started crafting.
I am brand-spanking new to this. Where can I find those tickets and tags you showed in the beginning? The ones with writing?
You are in my prayers. Get it done, take good care of yourself and you will be back in no time. Not fun but you have such a good attitude. You will do great. I will sure be here waiting for your return. Love and prayers..... Donna
Thank you, Donna, for your sweet comment. I teared up reading it! I will miss you all so much during my recovery. Thanks for being a loyal friend! ❤️
Looks like a mason jar top on the tag. Lol. Hymmmm an idea.
Love having my grandkids play with my craft things but when my grandson aged about four cut up all my cling stamps I learnt to put my best things away
I’m enjoying watching your videos, so much! What type of glue are you using to create your ephemera?
Cathy Forbes the glue is FabriTac or FabriFix (name depends on where you buy it, but it seems to be the same product). I like it because it dries quickly and securely affixes fabric to any surface. ❤️
Gayle Agostinelli thanks! It seems to affix really quickly, too!
Where do you get the time cards and the library cards? Your supplies?
Sorry for the late reply www.etsy.com/shop/atattereddream. ❤️
Fun, good ideas... Thanks
Hi Gayle
What kind of dabur do you use for your distress ink? Thank you so much
*dabber
Jennifer Carlin The dabbers are Tim Holtz. 😄❤️
Yes her shop is amazing
Thanks for sharing, have you shown the book you’re putting this in?
Ps, so sorry about your shoulder.
Nancy, I dunk the guest checks in coffee and bake in the oven. And the little girl images are from Tsunami Rose on Etsy. 😘❤️
Hugs! ❤️
Thanks Gayle, I'm going to get some! It looks less messy to apply than most of the glues I've tried.
Where do you find those vintage photos?
Sandra, the vintage photos of little kids are digital downloads from Tsunami Rose on Etsy. 😄❤️
