These are such good ideas! I have not seen any full size distress inks at any craft store (HL, Michaels, or Joann’s) only the tiny ones. I had to order mine on amazon. I hope he doesn’t stop carrying them because I don’t like the oxides as much. Saving all these scrappy tutorials to a playlist so I can find them. ❤️❤️

Great video Gayle. I laughed when I saw your bag of lace. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday as well and from the looks of it bought all the same lace...including 10 yds of the smaller one. A great buy. I think we all need to send Tim Holtz an email and beg him not to stop making the vintage photo distress ink pads!

It is July and after hearing your comment about distress ink, this has been my experience too, I went to Joann’s online and was able to order ink pad and re-inker bottle...got that off my mind...fun video about envelope pockets🌻🐇

I love, love, love all these ideas with envelopes! I actually just finished coffee dying a large stack of envelopes, baked and ironed them soooooo it was just fate that this video popped up on my iPad as I was ironing my last envelope! Well Gayle I’m starting to watch this video and I remember the envelope one you are talking about. It was one of the very first I saw when I started junk journaling last February and the very first one of your videos ❤️😎
Your envelopes and another technique I saw you do combined to inspire me. I used two envelops to make the four pocket floating pocket. Like the waterfall pocket. I’m not sure what to call it. Anyway I was able to alternate the sides where the flaps were. It looks great! Thanks for all the inspiration.
So beautiful!! I went today to HL for lace today. Last week I was there for the ribbon/lace on the roll on sale...and the gal told me the spool lace was on sale this week. :) I went for the dark brownish one you have in your bag...and they were out. I have a big box of #10 envelopes that were given to me - I didn't know what I was going to do with them but you don't turn down a free box of paper, do you??😂 So NOW I know EXACTLY what I'm going to do with some of them!! Gayle, you are the Queen of pockets and tuck spots!! all are gorgeous. lol at "clean up on aisle 4!!" i checked online at Michael's and Hobby Lobby and only could find the Distress Oxide ink pads. i'm not even sure what the difference is. hmmm, wonder if the regular ones are going away. thanks for sharing, hope you and mr a had a nice evening out.
Awesome ideas! Can't wait to build my favorite ones, which of course is all of them. I noticed that my local Michaels had very little Tim Holtz products at all. It seems to me that Hobby Lobby and Michael's are carrying less art crafting supplies and more home furnishings. Which is sorta a scary trend. Almost all stores are going toward order online, pick up in store.
Hi Gayle, I looked on youtube for a video on acetone in fabri tac, none. So I googled, and you should not use nail polish remover, you need to use 100% acetone, available at beauty supply shops. Use drop by drop and mixing until the consistancy you want. If you use nail polish remover, it can cause fabri tac to yellow. Hope it helps - Becky

I just checked at Scrapbook.com (where I do a great deal of online shopping due to price and lightening fast shipping) ... they have the vintage photo distress ink pads.. ( today is March 16, 2019 just for future reference )
