Oh my I just realized that this video is 4 years old!! I think one of your best and still so perfect to help us newer journal makers. Thanks and blessings from Ohio.
I hit a dry spell with ephemera ideas so I went backwards and found this video that I had never seen. SO HELPFUL! A few new great ideas for decorating ephemera was just what I needed! GREAT video!
Gayle you are so brilliant - gently making decisions and creating beautiful things, all the while helping us to see how it is done. Always if Iwant to be engaged, learn something and at the same time relax into the joy of journalling, you are my TH-cam go to channel. Thank you for your generosity in sharing what you do so well.
Gotta comment again.....This video has been SUPER helpful. Watching how you make your decisions in putting you journal together! Really Gayle, Thank You!
I wonder if you could use slow Stitch pieces for fabric flips? So u-tube suggested this video. I must admit I had forgotten some of this. The funniest part is I remember all the great stories. I use the strings, tiny yarn pieces or fabric scraps that are to small in place of fiber fill whenever I stuff anything. First time second time anytime I watch one of your videos you always make me smile you're like my little sista. My little sister was 7 years younger than me she was actually my cousin but my grandmother raises together when she was in her fifties we lost her to diabetes. But she could do a myriad of wonderful things just like you and she was a sweet and lovely as a perfect spring day just like you. I'm so glad that I found you Gail 😍🐞🥰
Thank you Gayle for always being so positive and uplifting. This video helped me so much for inspiring ideas especially for white pages in a signature. Love love it. I thoroughly enjoy your videos.
One of the things I absolutely love, and it is especially true in this video, is your ability to quickly pick items for your projects....that is my struggle...I overthink everything and then I don't complete anything!!!
Hi Gayle, I love your channel. You are so creative. Thank you for showing your 12 things that you use in your journals. They are all so awesome that I cannot choose a favorite. They are all my faviorites !!

I absolutely love watching everyone of your videos. I learn so much from you. I am just starting making junk journals and you give me so many ideas. Thank you 🙏
Just LOVE all the ideas you have for essential ephemera! Even when you are trying to decide where to put the elements, getting the 'walk thru' of the journal is an inspiration! As always. :) Thanks so much.
Thanks Gayle. These videos DEFINITELY are helpful for us newbies. And your videos are great in that I feel we are just chatting away while crafting. Love the checklist...will use that to make sure I have ideas on what should go in my journal.

Thank you, Gayle. This was so very helpful to a newbie. Also wanted to mention that I do the same thing by cross-hatching the tail of my check mark when double checking something. ;-)
Gayle, thank you so much for this great video! It is more help than you can imagine. So often I have so many ideas for what to include in my journals that are just floating around in my head. This grounded me. For some crazy reason it became like a file folder in my brain. I took your list and customized it to what I like to see in my journal and created my own list. Thank you for all of your inspiration, your wonderful videos and your easy going style of your videos. I was viewing this on TH-cam TV today and wanted to leave you a personal message. I love the way you put together this journal all the ephemera that you made and the reasoning of how you placed them. All terrific ideas! I have a HUGE box of vintage material I didnt know what to do with. Now I know. I can guess that you just tore long pieses and rolled them up on cardstock to use as bellybands. Great great idea! I also inherited a very old sewing machine from my Mom but dont know how to thread the thing, so I dont sew anything. Maybe I need to pull it out and try again. Thank you Gayle for the inspiration!
