3:57 The lack of 280mm radiator support for AIOs other than their own is the reason why I got rid of the original H510. Even reached out to their customer service reps who dismissed my case by saying that my AIO's radiator was larger than any other AIO that they've seen.
There are 360mm radiator AIOs...

@@jeroenklio4451 It wasn't criticism. But a commentary on just how dumb NZXT rep was on claiming they've never heard of anything larger than 240mm radiators.
I stopped using mine because my 6800XT barely fit after I replaced my 5700XT and it was getting choked pretty hard.

The holes are not for airflow, they're ventilation for the smoke from their flaming PCI-E risers

Great video! I would’ve liked to see how it performed with all 3 fans flipped (rad as exhaust & rear as intake). In my Meshilicious case, the orientation of the fans makes a huge difference.
my favorite feature on a case is dual exhaust. more case makers need to do this.

Man now I want to get this case, I love the standard 510 and even got the 210 for my wife’s build and haven’t had any problems with airflow but this just makes more sense as a case!
If NZXT was smart they would sell a conversion for your old H510 or even the H710. I have a H710 and would buy the front and even a top panel in a heartbeat.
The problem is you can’t remove the front panel on the old H510

if you look at it from their perspective, a whole new case is way smarter. why sell a piece to convert your case when they can just get you to buy a whole new case? from a consumers viewpoint, you're 100% right.

With the rising prices, just sell a new front panel for existing cases too.
Would be great to see you compare that setup to the same setup with the Kraken swapped out for an Aircooler (like a 212 Hyper or something) to see which config gives the best all around on temps.

Coldzero have been making front panels for the NZXT 210/510 cases for a while now. I have one on my H210i and it's improved cooling a lot, I've even been able to put 2x fans in for front intake. I think a lot of people got fed up with NZXT not doing anything for so long.
You are absolutely my favorite tech TH-camr. The funniest by far and I still learn a lot while being entertained.

I've built 100s of PCs ... I've yet to use any from NZXT.
@@justair44 done it twice. Once customer was buying prts and the second ine was going to use igpu and was a cheap case that was good enough and matched the looks the person was after

I'm still rocking my NZXT Noctis 450 black/red case. 3 120s on the front for intake 3 120s up top for exhaust and a 140 in the back. Support for 2 360 rads and everything.

Do all NZXT cases come with their own Halon fire suppression system built in?
I have been considering building a mid range gaming computer that does not look like a disco (like the one I have). Do you think this could be a candidate as a case for such a system? A glass side would be OK for observation of the internal, but nothing flashy or lit up.
Nice to see a temp comparison. Yes the H510 was hotter, but I don't think it was as bad as a lot of people made it out to be.
the reason many don't have a front panel "Block" connector is that some boards don't have the same layout for the front panel pins. so my guess is for adaptability. I agree that it's much simpler to hook up though.

Addendum: any comments on how a big-schlong tower cooler like the NH-D15 might fare between the cases? Considering getting one for my build but wondering whether a more open front might aid either way.
You could put 1 stock front fan on top as exhaust ( if you are going to use aio in front an intake ) to get better airflow .
I wish I could swap the front of my H510 with that one. It took me forever to figure out the best way to keep the insides cool.
Pretty cool! But now I did an easy case mod to my Lian Li Lancool mesh 2 to fit 3 140mm Unifans on the front panel...I couldnt imagine anything beating its cooling performance.
I also wondered why they never had mesh front panels on my case. Cant wait to get my owm

The front panel thing is the same for the P360A. When building in my p360a I was confused why I had no cables and then i realized it all put into one single cable
So, the header for front panel switches is actually standard these days? In my experience, which consists of a lot but all 5yo or older boards, there are unique for almost every brand

I would like to see you compare the Deepcool Matrexx 40 to this considering they're both airflow mid tower cases but the Matrexx 40 is like $3000 cheaper.
I love it it’s so nice I had the 510 and basically Dremeled a large rectangle cutout for 3 120 mm fans witch worked but ehh it was Dremeled not machined so you know…
It’s great how easy it is to remove the mesh. I would spray paint it nzxt purple
I have recently added a new PC to my workbench. Apart from an upgrade to it's original spec, it now has, like many a glass window on one side. My test bench, used mostly for my TH-cam channel, messing with audio stuff. I noticed I was picking up lots of digital noise on my test bench. After lots of testing I found the mush came from the glass side of the PC. I replaced the glass with a metal side panel and all is well. Glass looks good (I guess) but does not offer ANY screening so all the internal digital crap pours out polluting my test area. I cannot be the only one to have this issue!! or maybe I am.

I had the 510 in White and chanched to the 4000D Airflow in White 3 Months ago. Both Cases are really Nice and now Finally i can choose from 2.......

The price kills it. You can get a bunch of good airflow-focused cases (that also come with fans) for less than $100. Also 280mm rad support is only on paper. And they could have opened the top more too. They could have extended the mesh all the way down and drastically improve the GPU thermals as well, another missed opportunity...

Still got a Coolermaster HAF X from last Millenium: the main downside is the crap access to dust filters to properly clean them. I could live without the rarely used ODD but I need to have a new case with more than 2 HDD bays and 2 front USB ports plus a reset button.
I thought running the AIO tubes down and up wasn't a good thing. Could it not be installed top down?
Dawid might not be as big as other tech TH-camrs in terms of subs and all that, but he's by far the funniest imo! Love your vids man, keep it up!

So I decided to buy this case along with 4 noctua chromax black fans and an ek 240 basic which I used the noctua fans with, hope it turns out good, planning to put a next gen ryzen 7 inside along with a next gen 4070 of some sorts.
It's possible the GPU temps haven't changed much due to the radiator blocking the intake.

Me watching this after a long case upgrade. I did go from a cheap and and bad airflow cooler master case to a premium good airflow case. The Nzxt H7 flow. My pc build is so much quieter and much cleaner. Thanks to the be quiet light wings and pure loop fx

I have the original h510, currently I have had no serious problems with it, I am about to get a corsair h100i elite aio for my cpu and mount it on the front with one exhaust in the back, do you think if I removed the dust filters from the front intake of the case (the small one on the front and bottom) will result in better airflow?
