I love the Sabrinas for their minimalism so I’m leaning towards the regular Game Days since they aren’t as rigid, and you also mentioned they are better for high arches. Would you agree?

How would you rate the Game Day Pro vs Superfeet Orange? I've been using the Superfeet for about 6 months now and love them (I'm a flat footed, knocked kneed old man basketball player at 47), but I saw a teammate's Game Day Pro last night and they look nice, but pretty similar. I'm currently waiting for my custom orthotic, but use these in all of my shoes for the time being.

Hey Zach question for ya I'm a 50yr old still hooping and just ordered a pair of Kobe 6 reverse grinches which I'm thinking of getting one of these insoles for them. In my 40's I've had both knee's scoped (right no cartilage left, left meniscus tear and fully torn and unrepaired pcl), but also in 2020 I tore my right Achilles. Trying to figure out which would be best for me and my old body. *Edit* I'll add I'm moving to these from 5 pairs of Lebron 20's which I was obviously very happy with.
Hey Dr Zach! I was looking into insoles for my skateboarding. I feel skateboarding requires a good balance of impact protection and flexibility but my older body needs support. My podiatrist recommended powerstep but I feel the arch shell is too rigid for the repeated jumping. I have a neutral arch. Do you recommend either of these for me? Thank you! I currently use Remind Medic Impact model insoles :)

@@FootDoctorZach thanks- yes always take original one out. Superfeet orange & one other one you reviewed here both put me too high in a few different shoes. They helped the Achilles pain putting my heel a little higher but then I get bad stability when moving side to side.

Hi Zach, Would you recommend the game day or game day pro for a pair of Curry 9s? I like the court feel of the UA flow. Also, I’m a US10 in shoe size but I don’t wear my shoes with a snug fit so should I get a 9.5 insole to better fit my feet? I’m in Australia so I want to make sure I get the right thing. Thank you in advance
@@MoveInsoles So from my perspective having the Move Game day pro what I have discovered is for shoes that have more of a max cushion set up, they make the fit really really tight and sometimes subdue the cushioning. Example KD14/most lebrons etc. What I have discovered is in shoes like the New Balance 2way/Kyrie Infinity(shameless plug i talk about the insoles at minute 5 of my latest video 😁). Then shoes like the Jordan why not zero 3/Dame 8 they work because they have a minimalistic cushion set up(IMO)so they really enhance the experience. Being that the Kyrie infinity lacks Regidity to me the insoles help that alot. Great insoles overall with the right shoe and casually they are nice in helping your legs and feet not get so fatigued fast. Hope that helped. 🙏
Which one should I try for metatarsal pain. The small metatarsal pads don’t seem to help. When I we are OOFAS sandals feels great. I’m cyclist and looking to put support into my shoe. Any thoughts?
So the pros are the functional model- if you want more support go with those if you want minimal then the game days- depends how much support you want out of them
would you recommend using the game day pro insoles with the way of wade 10s, or is it overkill? do you think the game day pro insoles actually make the shoe too bouncy?
i have a low arch and the game day is way more comfortable than the pros its higher arch support causes pain and discomfort and my feet feel like i ran 100miles just from walking to my car
Question, if I’m a size 12 for example and I want to add in one of these gameday insoles and take out the factory insoles should I go up to a size 12.5 or will the 12 work. I have a more neutral arch and play professional basketball so I’m working out 6 hours 6 days of the week on the court. Never tried custom orthotics and had some really bad over the counter orthotics that were either too unstable or too hard. But these game days look solid or I might just have to find a good foot doctor that can make me a good custom insole… what do you think? I’m 6’1 180 lbs guard.
@@FootDoctorZach I appreciate that. You really making it easier for us pro athletes to get the right shoe!! I been playing in wrong shoes almost every other time I buy a shoe 😂
If you’re not used to extreme arch support, you’d probably want to actually check with a doctor to see if your foot benefits from it. Otherwise, it hurting is normal and could just take some time to get used to.
Is there an insole you would recommend that doesn’t have an arch support & is just flat? I just need one to put inside an Air Jordan 1 to take up space inside (putting it on top of the stock insole) & improve lockdown.

heyy what would be begger for me game day or game day pro. Im a flat and wide footed basketball player and would play 2+ hours a day. Sometimes feet would hurt after only 5 minutes of playing.
I have the game day pros and they hurt my left arch during wear. Im using these for pickleball specifically. Should I expect the game days to have a little more give and not hurt my arch as much? I imagine this is not a good thing?
Hey Zach. I watched a video saying that these are not recommended if you already have a high end hoop shoe. Just wanna hear your take. Do you think it will go well with like the curry 8
Not sure I understand that recommendation when it comes to court or running shoes - an orthotic is more used based on foot type/ injury profile that kind of stuff not necessarily the shoe it’s in, there are a few small exceptions when it comes to clogs and some other types of shoes but other than that if you benefit from an orthotic you’ll benefit from it no matter the court shoe
Have you ever tested the brand yoursole? You put them in the oven for a few min and then they mold to your foot shape my pt recommended them but I haven't tried it yet.
Hey doc you said game day pro would be better for low arch/flat feet. That’s what I have but game day pros hurting my arches and it aches. Specially when I tie down my shoes real tight it’s worse. I play basketball in them. Do I need to break them down more or game day is better suited for my foot?
No idea without looking at your foot- some people like the game days better but it’s all personal preference - orthotics usually have a 1 week break in
If you had to wear one outside and one inside which would you go for? I ordered one of each to test, but maybe one is better suited for outside? While the other for inside? I have a medium / regular arch, and have also been struggling a bit with turf toe but do not know if this is useful for that.

Love your content as I’ve been searching for a good orthotic for CrossFit. My right ankle tends to pronate which tends to irritate my posterior tibialis especially when I squat (had tendinitis a year ago). I have a semi flat arch and a wide foot. Was looking at these game day pros but would love your little input if you can
Yeah that’s what their main use case is for- if you squat heavy they may not last as long as the Powerstep pinnacle or custom orthotic, however they are more low profile that those ones too- depends what you want
Great content man! I got myself a move game day insole, not sure if it's just me but I'm experiencing my foot sliding on the footbed whenever I use it. I don't experience this whenever I use the stock insoles that came with my shoes tho (Anta Kai 1 and Lebron NXXT Gen). Can anyone give me an idea how to fix that?
I have a problem where within weeks I cut through insoles at the forefoot area (underneath the big toe) what are the best custom insoles for this problem?
@@MoveInsoles Thank you. I have been wearing the game days for a couple of weeks now. Its great! Thanks for the reply. Looking to get the pro’s for the basketball games. Im interested to see how they help with explosive movements on court
I saw the last video comparing these and on there insoles. I currently have the vktry gold insoles. I liked them at first but they seem to be irritating my foot as of late when I play basketball. I think it’s the fact that the carbon fiber covers the entire foot. Would the game day pro still have some give compared to the vktry gold? I weight 220 and am 5’11. Still play competitively.
Yeah the moves and powersteps have much more forgiveness in the forefoot- the vktrys irritated my foot as well with that carbon fiber all the way under the forefoot - it’s a nice idea but it can be very hard to deal with
@@FootDoctorZach for sure! I love the explosiveness it gives me on lateral cuts when playing defense and gives me that extra lift when shooting a side step at full speed but seems like there’s a price to pay after a while. I think the soles are the reason why I have Achilles tendinitis.
i have flat feet, would the pros cause fatigue on my foot? i've noticed shoes that have high arches or shoes that are more narrow, it makes my feet really tired very quickly.
Do the insoles take away or minimize the feel of the cushion In your shoe. For example if I have a shoe with a zoom strobel will I feel the same bounce or less of it with the move insoles?

Yeah that’s what their main use case is for- if you squat heavy they may not last as long as the Powerstep pinnacle or custom orthotic, however they are more low profile that those ones too- depends what you want
i just bought the game day pro
Nice- hope they work out well
Please review the kd15 when it come out
@@MoveInsoles can you guys sent me a pair of gameday pro for my kd14 us size 12 I would really appreciate
Hello, would you suggest this on wade 808s ? Thank you!
Can anyone give me an idea how to fix that?
hey are the flexibility harder and torsion support on the game days better than the insoles that come in the kd14 or the jordan 36?
I have a problem where within weeks I cut through insoles at the forefoot area (underneath the big toe) what are the best custom insoles for this problem?
I wonder how these compare to the Powerstep Moldable…
Hey Doc, Would you recommend the pro or gameday for all day wear? I do walk a lot at work. But it seems most people buy these for bball only.
Same rules apply- whichever you think fits your foot profile better
Hey Zac can you review the z liner insoles??!!
I am high arch,u think game day pro would be better?
Discussed this word for word in the video just press ▶️
Do you leave the shoes original sole in or do you take it out
I typically take it out but others leave in
Is there an insole that is closely related to this one for sports? These are only sold in the U.S and the exchange rate is nuts!
Not sure what would be available in your country unfortunately
How about the power step pinnacle maxx? @foot doctor zach
will the regular Game Day fit to the vapor pro 2? or they too much thick to insert them inside?
Yep they fit
i have flat feet, would the pros cause fatigue on my foot? i've noticed shoes that have high arches or shoes that are more narrow, it makes my feet really tired very quickly.
Not sure I’d have to examine the foot to know for sure
Do the insoles take away or minimize the feel of the cushion In your shoe. For example if I have a shoe with a zoom strobel will I feel the same bounce or less of it with the move insoles?
Yes if you like the feeling of your shoes midsole it’s going to be different in an orthotic
@@MoveInsoles thanks I will be buying the insoles this week . Do you know how long shipping takes more less . I live in TX . Thanks for the response 👍.
How often should we replace these?
Whenever you notice the support waning- it’s different for everyone
Move Game Day Pro vs Powerstep Pinnacle? which is better?
Depends if you want max support then pwrstp if you want more room in the shoe - move
@@FootDoctorZach Which gives you more speed and vertical jump? Performance wise, who is better? I appreciate your contents sir.
@@FootDoctorZach Thank you sir!
Can someone give me the rundown so If I was to wear these to practice or my basketball game which one is better
How long do they last?
You find out?
get yonex power cushion insole cheap and insane good
Will they help with shin splints or do you suggest another insole?
They’re good for them from my experience
@@FootDoctorZach Doctor the regular game day is better for people with normal arch right? Because with the pro for me there is much arch support... Thanks
So if my original insole is stitched in.. I have to remove it correct?? What if I don't like the way it feels and want to go back? 😅
Just got my game day pro insoles and I played with it on my Way of Wade 10 low but it doesn't feel right for me. I think WOW10's technology plus Gameday Pro insoles are bad combination / overkill or maybe it's just me..
Still feel the same about this? Thinking about putting the pro’s in my WOW 10s…
Waiting for vktry review

tendintits?
Can you review Dr. Shcholls insoles for plantar fasciitis and the one for knees? Always wondered if they were any good for basketball. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Not a fan
@@FootDoctorZach 😮
@@FootDoctorZach I got the Powerstep Pinnacle Arch Support Insoles. 👍
Not for athletes
@@DamianLillard good to know. Will try out the game day pros after the ones I just got. Thanks man. Looking forward to ur return. 👍
Why do insoles always have the little cuts on the inside most of the time?
I’ve wondered that- maybe for some biofeedback or just design
Thank u
The pros hurt my arches
Is the power step pinnacle maxx good for basketball?
yep
For crossfit? We do lots of box jumps and jump ropes combined with jumping burpees over a box.
These really hurt aftet many repetition. Which would you recommend? Taking consideration we do lifting too.
