- Different art mediums work differently, that goes without saying. Some art supplies work better with specific art styles. Today I try to 'tweak' my art style to work best with the art supply I was provided. Let's see if I can make this work!

This calmed me down.. I have to confront my parents on how I feel about how I’m always feeling pressured, insecure, and embarrassed about how I feel and how they make me and my sisters feel. I’m risking my face in my family to defend me and my sisters mental health and because of this I’ve been on edge all day and trying to get inspiration but my minds been cloudy. But, watching this made me calmer and helped me to draw even if I’m stressed out it’s really helpful. Thank you ^^

You have to have a lot of time, energy, and patience for that. I could NEVER be an animator. That seems like it would be almost tedious, to me.

I've been kinda going through an art block recently and everything I draw turns out just fine, but for some reason I'm just not happy with it... I tend to be really critical with my art and this video helped to remind me that my art doesn't always have to turn out perfect! I really appreciate it, Waffles. You have no idea how much of an impact you've made on my life these past few months.

i really love watching you draw. i gives me so much insporation and i just want to thank you! also, seeing you draw more simply is awesome since personally my stile is kind of graffiti-ish so it actually makes me feel better about my art. also, when trying to simplify things, take the three most bacic shapes (squares, triangles, and circles) and use only those for the first sckelital scketch layer, then add the bare minimum of detail useing bacic shapes, while keeping in mind the fact that small details are going to be kind of impossible. then all you have to do is add bold lineart, blocks of color, mimimal shadeing, and bright white highlites. hope this helps anyone looking for it. thanks again, waffles!!

The way you drew and colored each of the same character but differently was adorable
2020, on the whole, has been a pretty good year for me! In February, I started a local nannying job, which involves a teaching/tutoring element in English. Less than a month later, schools shut and I had to do many more hours. Then, in June, I started a job in a crèche, also teaching English locally. I have never been happier, as the farthest I have to commute is 15 minutes by bus and both my jobs combined enable me to earn enough to live on, and I adore them both! My nephew arrived in April, so I now have a niece ( nearly 3 and a half!) and a nephew! Thank goodness for e-mail, as I get pictures and videos of them regularly, if I can’t see them in person.

I really like this style! It makes me think of comics/cartoons, with all the bold lines n bright colors and simpler shapes. My style is already a bit more "simple" than others but I want to find ways to really stylize it like this. My only issue is creating things that look a bit too childish or just like I've drawn them wrong 😅

sometimes it astounds me how much I LOVE Rin, and yet how different our styles are :/ The second I saw those colours I saw "black fashion, kinda sketchy main figure, night, neon lights".
