What a beautiful documentary. A beautiful family. I love them. The two brothers are quite close with each other and their mom. Also their father, step mother and siblings. Hope they'll make more documentaries like this for this family. 🥰
There was a very awkward moment there, it seems the younger son is left to live on his own, and it looks like the boys have talked about it, and the younger boy doesn’t seem very happy and seems lonely. Alexandria says they are bigger than her, protect her, but I think that younger boy especially still needs mothering. But I am also wondering they fronted the documentary with Felix, it seemed more about Alexandra.
The only person who makes this awkward is you being SO NOSY AND OPINIONATED

She broke the marriage to Prince Joachim, let him take the blame - and married her lover. She lived a jetset life with him off the Danish taxpayers.

I think it is best for Denmark to maintain the royalty of the second son of Queen Margareth, because by the marriage of the 2nd Prince to the Countess, the Royal family of the 2nd Prince (Count) becomes the Ambassador of Denmark to many nations, especially the Asian Countries...like China.

I think the reason to strip the titles was illogical but needed. I feel if the boys graduated from the military they’d look better to the public than rather being interested in the self indulgence and going there own way.

Although, Marie has several important patronages from Henrik, even before his death, such as UNESCO. So you can see that although not the main line, Joachim and his family still have official and also informal family roles important to the royal family as a whole. All of his children have the same titles as Federico's children, so they are prince/princess and also count/countess of Monpezat. Joachim is an admitted Francophile, which is not Frederik and he, Marie and their children have returned to France where Joachim is involved in some unspecified military training and their children are starting school to learn French so they will grow up to be bilingual. . , or trilingual or more, since Marie has French Spanish and Danish while Joachim has Danish, French and English.

Well, it's not a story. They are the facts. Joachim is incredibly decent and still gets invited to all the big events when both of their families need to be together. He has conducted several interviews in which he has explained what happened. She was always using the children to advance herself. It was his idea to make Nikolai films from his childhood. Nikolai's filming brought Martin Jørgensen into the family home in 2000 when Nikolai was a young child. Poor Joachim was indeed a miserable man, who soon realized that he had made a mistake in marrying Alexandra. Since Alexandra played the role of a dutiful mother and "working princess", she always engaged in self-promotion and used her children to make herself look good. He did an extended interview for Hong Kong TV about a year ago, you can google it, which included the boys. Honestly, she looks like the mother from hell. It's about her. Joachim is a gentlemanly and decent man and she happens to be a bit of a barracuda. She "let" the Hong Kong tabloids accuse Joachim of being a drunken playboy, which the Danish press followed up on when she had already had an affair with her second younger husband-to-be and was living apart from Joachim in Shackenborg. Who told the Hong Kong tabloid? The second husband could not bear her more than Joavhim. Joachim, of course, allowed his parents to stay in Shackenborg as long as they wanted. He really was always very decent to her and still is. I find her behavior towards her children to be, erm, a little creepy. Anyway, that's how I see things, since I've followed her since the beginning. I thought the marriage would not work out as soon as I saw the wedding photos. I have professional qualifications and can know a narcissist when I see one. Joachim probably didn't know what hit him when she would have started their marriage by making demands. So it is with narcissists
