Cheers Andy...glad.you are enjoying the series. How long it will run for is anyone's guess. I hope be running through the rigs and baits in forthcoming episodes.
Love it Rich, like you say consistency is the way and know body can question your consistency in putting fish on the bank mate that’s for sure. And so I think it really is just a matter of time before you reach your holy grail, if not this year certainly next year. 🤞 Great watch as always.
Another great session Richard mate, when are gonna see this double figure bin lid 😁? I had a go day before you and it was quite busy session for me too but no monsters 😤 video be up on the channel sometime tomorrow. Keep up the good work, love watching ur vids tight lines 👍🎣
tried pulley droppers with bluey/ bluey and sandeel the other day. Few rays out but none over 4lb, whereas to the left and right there were 7lb+ coming out. Any tips for getting through the smaller fish to the better ones?
Afraid not JC...a small ray will pick up a big bait too! Luck has a part to play on whether you have small or big fish in front of you or moving through when you are fishing. As I always say 'every tide is different'.
Thanks for the comment Daniel. The rays are in the river all year. However, become harder to catch in winter as they tend to sit in the main channel but more importantly you get loads of whiting homing in on the fish baits before a ray can find it.
Another Great Video Rich, thanks for sharing. I've been watching the series with interest, great tips etc, and getting decent fish too, thanks

Thanks Hakan. Who knows when the big one will arrive...could be my next cast 🎣. ...could be in a 1000 casts. It will come though ,😁
Busy session rich cheers 👍
Thanks Chris. Could have been very busy if I hadn't fished the second rod with ray bait rather than a big Conger bait.
Nice video mate you should be getting some cod soon i did try the other night
Thanks. There is the odd one coming out at the moment....won't be long now for cod as whiting numbers are building in river.
