Thanks Matt. Depends on your definition of fun....wading through half a mile of water is hard work. Not a place to be taken lightly as you can easily run into tidal cut off problems if you get the timing wrong.
@@PerchRockFishing ha ha yes that’s a good point. I know the feeling though when wading stretches of river for salmon and trout however that is relatively safe as long as you know where the pools are.
Thanks Mark. We did cross a little early on this session but you would have no problems once the water dropped a little more. It is not a mark to fish though if you don't know it...as potentially dangerous.
@@PerchRockFishing I can see how dangerous it can be, if any one uses common sense they should be able to realise when they need local knowledge and experience. It's somewhere I would like to fish but I think I would struggle getting out to it - I will have to stick with boats for the time being.

Nice surprise catch Richie laaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Cheers Kev...be great if they became a regular fish of the Mersey.
I don't think I'd manage the walk out and being 5ft 6in I'd probably be too short to walk through the water anyway! Great catch with the blond Ray.
