That Atlantic Salmon reminds me of the crazy aggression of a fresh wild Northwest coastal river dime shine steelhead. Just wish there were more of em these days 😢
Do you guys have the whole gambit of game species there? I’m from Midwest USA-mainly fish walleye, perch, smallmouth bass, salmon, brown and brook trout. Looks like a really neat landscape to solve a fishing puzzle in. I like the subtlety of the river flow pictured here. It’s gentle like northern Michigan, USA rivers.
Yep, that certainly looks like Ireland !! The sound of that Cascapaedia ? Reel is like music ! Great video and fabulous fish, well done in those conditions. 👍
I know the feeling. I was very lucky to be diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer when I had my annual MOT checkup at our local surgery I was fast tracked despite Covid in the area and had a course of medicines to reduce my testosterone. It took about a year before I was ready for radiotherapy to burn it out, lasting about another year to complete in the Raigmore Hospital All in all, I travelled more than 2,500 miles. I have been a keen angler for 70 years and I have not had a rod in my hand for the last 3 years I lost 2.5 stones and now I spend some tying salmon and trout flys in the hope I will be getting out on the rivers and lochs in Sutherland this coming season.
This is à pure dream! 50 years ago that was possible in France... now reading the olds books and watch youtube is the only ways to see a salmon. Very sad! Thank’s for sharring.
