    Right now, my son and I are in an apartment of only 142 SQ FT total in Sagamihara. However, on Thursday we will move into a 3 room apartment in Hachioji. I am so excited to have more space! I found it lucky yours came with appliances. Mine doesn't so this week I will be picking out a refrigerator and stove top burners.

    I live in Tsukuba at the moment. I have a really large apartment for a really cheap price. I'm considering applying to Todai for grad school, but the thought of being constantly broke to pay for a tiny apartment is giving me nightmares.

    Nice apartment. Explain to me why you need a bathtub. Seems like a waste of space. In that place you can have a nice big shower with a showerhead from the ceiling and a door and use that space, that you can close off, to dry your clothes with the heatings system.

    • @EmmaElizabethX
      @EmmaElizabethX  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Jeroen Elshof While I didn't design the apartment, most apartments in Japan have a bathtub. Taking baths has been popular here for years and years, so it's natural that they've kept them around. The shower room's still quite large, even with the tub! And there is a rod in there for drying clothes with the heating system as well.

      Katja Kofoed Thank you! I'm glad my meager camera skills are decent!!
      This place is 23 sqm/250sqft, a decent amount of space for one person. But most importantly I'm in an area I like, close to trains, and feel safe here (as a lone woman that's important)

    Since most people don't have vehicles. when buying small furniture for example your kitchen rack. how do you bring it home? Is it delivered or do you take it with you on subway(being that it would take up much space)? That has been bothering me trying to figure out how i'ma do it. lol Thank you.

    • @chefsloth

    the very reason why women are more messier than men. cuz they are not messy. they just have soooo many stuffs. if im living there i would just have a single bed a tv with ps4 a pc one rack for books mangas and figures one small table. a vacuum cleaner. and all that other stuffs in the kitchen. my bathroom would be so empty too. just soap shampoo and toothbrush.
