My favorite part of this video is the mistakes. Shows what a difficult game poker really is while also showing that you don’t need to be perfect to…. CRUSH
Great content. I sometimes listen while taking a stroll at night so the phone is in my jacket pocket. I would get more utility and listen longer if you would call out the boards. Basically commentate the hand for those only following on audio. Otherwise nice show 🥕
I have a question with JJ (3:15) --> River, with our against a pool where every players have their "nuts" (22, K2s, maybe 72s, 32s if it's a big Fish, it's not a lot of combo but they are naturally here). In this same pool, there are players that are not bluffing River in this situation, others players that start to bluff on the Turn and they don't have natural bluff on the River, and some bluff on the River like that. But, as 100% of the pool arrive with some nuts (or some combos against we lose), do you think that the part of the pool who bluff here (maybe 50% of the pool I don't know), will bluff enough to justify this call with third pair ? I don't know if you understand (English is not my mother tongue haha)
on the QQ hand at ~18:36 - you said that you might jam instead of peel. even though you started the hand at ~137bb ? and are covered by villian. not syaing it's wrong, just asking
Nice Instructional content. It's quite funny the profile of players that will bet too wide in position on flops and turns when given enough rope to hang themselves, but will also miss both bluffs AND value on rivers when they have a clear must bet.
@@CarrotCornerPoker yeah, unfortunately i'm from germany, so "action" is stretching it. online the rake is laughable on regulated sites since the new law. and live action is hard to find. but yes, people are very bad at omaha. i'm just decent but that's more than enough. it's more blue line heavy (than NLH) against recs imo, especially live. anyway, as soon as i'm living near a casino again, i'm subscribing to your course/coaching. this is some grade A teaching.
Love the format, love the content, love the streams and will definitely be getting the Carrot Poker School content (with coaching) asap. I also stream so maybe could be the next Jess in future ... 🤞
Hi Peter. **** Off, You're Lovely. To answer your question about the first hand where you had J9 spades in UTG... because I love being prompted to run solves. My solver shows J9s with 68% on river. You are right solver has very little QTs for villain that makes it to river.
Stepping up the intro game! Another great video - really enjoy this format. We need a hand counter in the corner to tick up or down as you complete a review.
Why is J9suited one of your favorite starting hands in early position? Just curious, seems like a much better hand from a better position, I usually fold those holdings utg
Might want to look at that last hand in theory Villain pretty much has no turn jams, A4 pretty much pure checks turn despite no risk of being jammed on if you do bet turn A4 is also a 4BB mistake to jam river due to check equity due to no villain turn jams.
Any chance we get some payoff data analysed in the next few videos, especially to help illustrate to benefits of some of the looser calls in this particular play style? I ask because a lot of us play quite a bit tighter than this (e.g. just autofolding QQ to any bet size on a flop with an ace or a king), and I'm sure we'd all appreciate a proper numerical breakdown of how much we're losing by playing like this.
I prefer this kind of real, in-depth content over ‘top 5 ways to CRUSH!’ click bait. Even with your (self-confessed) clickbait title I know I’m going to get applicable theory and insight. Im not expecting to learn five tips and become a millionaire, and that’s not why I enjoy the game - I love learning theory and ranges, in tandem with an exploitable aspect and you teach the merits / or not of both without promising anything

Nice format, similar to your thought process on stream, but it is nice to see the afterthoughts too!

Yeah they ‘don’t deserve to play the game’.
you explained 7:36 onwards so well. glad i found this channel a couple days ago. maybe i need to dust off my holdem game at some point
Well, I hear the action is good on the PLO streets. Assuming that’s your main game?

Hi Pete. I've never played on GG. Are the pools really that much softer there compared to Stars especially?
Love this format

More hand review videos please?!?!?!?!
good use of the word Bonanza
Thank you so much for your input! Always forcing me to use my brain.
Ahahah. Might be a bit demotivating for some :)
New video❤!!
at the first hand j9s has roughly 65%equity otr pete, iam shocked..
Yeah it’s a lot weaker than I thought. Overbetting the turn causes a lot of narrowing though.
THESE 25 HANDS TURNED ME INTO A DONNNNK
Excellent. We need more donks. Mission accomplished.
yes! More misclick donks! 😂 the 200nl nit regs wont know what to think

Thanks so much for the kind words. I’ll keep trying to blend the two as much as possible.
