I never saw Johnny Cash live. But one time it was just like he was sittin' right there, him and his guitar, in the back seat of my dad's '56 Ford as we rolled down the road singin' at the top of our lungs about a teenage queen. I was 11 years old in '58, and he was a huge part of who I am today. Rest in peace Johnny.

I was fortunate to meet him at his house at 11 years old I was in awe He was an amazing man. Very humble treated us like family signed autographs and posed for pics
as a kid i spent a lot of time leaned againsts a tree in our huge woods just like the song! next to a small stream i would do that for hours watching the wild life! i am 78 and disabled vet! but this song takes me to that woods every time

There was something about Johhny Cash that reminded me of a family friend that owned a campground. I think that it's his humble way of showing you his life and the lessons that he was able to provide.

You sure brought memories, I was recruited by this Agency and we were all stuck, most of my Teammates were out drinking but me and this Girl, I've met were the only ones left in the Dorm, way deep in the Arctic Ocean, we'd be flying south [San Diego and Langley], we were played this song, and she said, I played this for you, because you are a Cardinal [it's my last name], we'd never see each other, but I did hear hear she died in Afganistan.

Just take a moment to process that cast and if you're a weirdo like me your mind just might be blownl Gregory Peck, ok, Tuesday Weld? Sure, was she a Catwoman from the 1960's TV show? There were several catwomen. Julie Newmar the most prominent. But ok, who was Ralph Meeker? Why does the name Ralph Meeker have that earworm quality? Wasn't he in some kind of cult favorite low budget film noire? Oh yeah, that one. Also the movie (not Kiss Me Deadly, I Walk The Line) was directed by John Frankenheimer.
