Just gon say this: Jesse is one of the nicest and most heartwarming person I’ve ever met (besides my girlfriend). he is able to cheer up my day with a simple “heyo!” Or, even just listening to some of his music. He’s extremely nice And, accepting and, has helped me through a lot... thank you, Jesse.
@@DaysNDazeOfficial no doubt! His lyrics are very profound. I can sympathize with his thoughts derived from introspection. All his projects have been encouraging to me in this mystery called "life".
I try to be an optimist But my glass is always bone dry So I gotta fill it up or get high to get by To just try to tiptoe the tightrope This pessimism's a disease With depression and apathy sets in A complete lack of all motivation To reach any goal dig deeper the hole We've dug with distraction and give in to a vice Once it's hard to wake up Hard to function Hard to cope Without a six pack a bag of weed Or a bump of coke We've lost autonomy And depleted all our dopamine Now the world does seem a dreary place Devoid of any hope without a vice CHORUS We poison ourselves and don't think twice About the consequence when the crutches feel so nice When we put bandaids on our bullet wounds we Subtract good add vice When we decide to stop Cant go cold Turkey Cause you're left with a brain all out of wack Though it can be a quick hazy Saunter down to rock bottom It's a long road back There ain't no seatbelts on this wagon With every speed bump were launched back To square one where we tell ourselves That well do better tomorrow We tell ourselves promise ourselves that we'll do better tomorrow (I'm not sure that I'll be any better tomorrow) We tell ourselves lie to ourselves that we'll do better tomorrow (I'm not sure that I'll be any stronger tomorrow) We tell ourselves promise ourselves that we'll do better tomorrow (I'm not sure that I wanna wake up tomorrow) Sooner those tomorrows cease to come When you live anchored to a vice CHORUS CHORUS
We poison ourselves and don't twice ! about the consequences when the crutches feel so nice . when we put bandaids on our bullet wounds we we subtract good add vice 🙈🙊🙉

I'm just going to say that these are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Looking forward to seeing them play again.
Same!
For real i saw them in shiprock shouts from natives
@@gorillahaze605 ha, I caught them in Tsaile earlier this year and even got to hang out in their van, they're genuinely really nice folks
I wholly approve. Write a song you know is great, with one band, and then record a different version with your other band
Just found this after hearing addvice on show me the blueprints. Both versions are so good.
one of the best bands of all time. thank you.
Jesse a legend!

No kidding. He has the ability to simply put such poignant truth into so many different beautifully rhyming melodies. It is so inspirational.

You guys fucking rock, such a weird mixture of instruments but it works!
i’m so upset that i’m just now finding out about this project
I try to be an optimist
But my glass is always bone dry
So I gotta fill it up or get high to get by
To just try to tiptoe the tightrope
This pessimism's a disease
With depression and apathy sets in
A complete lack of all motivation
To reach any goal dig deeper the hole
We've dug with distraction and give in to a vice
Once it's hard to wake up
Hard to function
Hard to cope
Without a six pack a bag of weed
Or a bump of coke
We've lost autonomy
And depleted all our dopamine
Now the world does seem a dreary place
Devoid of any hope without a vice
CHORUS
We poison ourselves and don't think twice
About the consequence when the crutches feel so nice
When we put bandaids on our bullet wounds we
Subtract good add vice
When we decide to stop
Cant go cold Turkey
Cause you're left with a brain all out of wack
Though it can be a quick hazy
Saunter down to rock bottom
It's a long road back
There ain't no seatbelts on this wagon
With every speed bump were launched back
To square one where we tell ourselves
That well do better tomorrow
We tell ourselves promise ourselves that we'll do better tomorrow
(I'm not sure that I'll be any better tomorrow)
We tell ourselves lie to ourselves that we'll do better tomorrow
(I'm not sure that I'll be any stronger tomorrow)
We tell ourselves promise ourselves that we'll do better tomorrow
(I'm not sure that I wanna wake up tomorrow)
Sooner those tomorrows cease to come
When you live anchored to a vice
CHORUS
