@@HiNinqi Its sounds great through my home home stereo. Some of these TH-cam song videos I have to adjust my EQ levels to great the right sound. But these guys are great. You can clearly hear each instrument with Libby's voice soaring over top making for a great tune.

this is not folk punk. it may be a punky sort of folk, but certainly doesn't belong to the well established genre of folk punk. don't get me wrong here, i'm happy you like this kind of music. it's just that artists like AJJ, Kimya Dawson, Paul Baribeau and a whole bunch of other artists deserve more recognition for what they are doing.

Holy fuck I just stumbled across this because of Amigo the Devil and it's fucking amazing. I'm in love with her voice and this weird melding of genres instantly.
Wow! What a band! The instruments & voice are all in such synergy despite such differences in type. Heck, that diversity is exactly what makes your guys' sound so rich & layered, yet not laying it on too thick. Great composition helping that happen, perfectly pacing when each sound steps up & recedes so it balances beautifully. Totally unique & memorable sound, catchy tune, rebellious lyrics, & all the players & singer are really into it. Y'all are amazing! I'm gonna show this to my Mom, who also likes unique stuff & the sound of a banjo, I'll bet she'll get a kick out of it. 😼
Found out about this band just today. I'm always in search of different music and I didn't know what to really think at first. I thought their song "laugh while you can" was amusing yet good but the more I listen to them, the more I like them. You can tell they're very talented musicians who write what they want, which is awesome and their songs are catchy. The lead vocalist is also a great singer, and being a metalhead that normally doesn't listen to folk/bluegrass despite having roots in the Appalachian mountains, I also liked when she yelled the lyrics. Y'alls music is definitely unique and to me, y'all definitely stand out! Hope y'all get hugely successful eventually!

Jebus christy. liking the hell out of this. as someone that listens to everything from dub step to death metal, this is right up there in the "need to keep this in the playlist" area.
Go listen to Cab Calloway. Listen to late 20s/early 30s jazz/swing. Start there, and you'll understand this stuff a bit better: at least you'll get an idea of the reference material. I listen to everything, and I will listen to these folks when they come on.
I grew up with Country music. At 15 I became a Metalhead. Left country behind. If this was around when I was going I’d still be far more into folk and country.
