    What size pvc you use and what did you do with the other hole that the water come from the pool to the filter. Thanks

    • @EverydayShortcuts

      1 1/2″ PVC tubing and used the plug (rubber stopper) that came with the pool to close up the other hole

    Whats the point of cutting a bigger hole if the shut off valve opening is way smaller that the 1 1/2 . For this to make any sense, you would have to connect the pvc directly to the adapter on the liner.

      Maybe step it up to a 2" shut-off valve and then back down to the 1 1/2 ?

    Any leaks? I’m looking to do the same and replace the hoses with pvc.

    Where did you get the fitting? Looks used. Also 1 1/2” flexible pvc is probably available at a SPA/Hot tub supplier it glues up just like the regular pvc. That will be more flexible and eliminate any flow loss due to the 90° elbows.

      Which fitting?

      Also wondering what fitting she bought. The pool fitting...it's the piece that you cut the hole out for.

    What is the part you replace in the pool itself you cut the “nipple” out of the pool and put the part with the strainer on the inside where do I get that I’ve looked all over Amazon and can’t figure out which exact part it is

      Switch it out so when you put your chlorine in you can turn it off so the water doesn't keep running out.

    Anyone want to tell him they make a handle for those blades?

  • @veritasaequitas9838

    Judging from the injuries on his hand(s) that's not the first time using a cutting wheel while HOLDING the piece being cut? Do NOT follow that example people, a 6" cut off wheel will remove a finger or a piece of your hand in less than a second, when, NOT if you lose control of the grinder.

    The cut with the grinder, rawdogging the blade like that.. oof!

    Ah dude!!! Thats not a chlorine basket. Its a debris basket/filter. Putting chlorine pucks in there will prematurely kill your pump and could do damage to your entire system.

    It’s probably going to start leaking with the fact that the pipe is not flexible and the pool moves as people swimming and jumping around

    • @EverydayShortcuts
      @EverydayShortcuts  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We had the PVC piping for about 3 years now and it has never leaked. The flexible ones leak is why we changed it out. Use good cement and it don't leaked.
