Cool facts:
Matt heafy is extremely talented. He joined trivium at 12 years old, he is virtually self taught with singing/screaming/growling and guitar (he doesn’t know how to read sheet music for guitar). He also did the vocals for Korn in 2006 when Jonathan Davis was sick. He has some pretty badass tattoos, and He also trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which is “dope as hell” lol.
He should learn sheet music. Its not a virtue to play without knowing it. Not knowing it is holding back his playing

I'm glad you got tickets, my wife and I went to their concert in Austin a few weeks ago, at Come and Take It Live. Unfortunately they had 2 AC's break and it was 120 inside. Hopefully your experience will be better but Trivium is always an amazing show live.

This album was a fucking face melter. It was a brilliant choice to put this song first on the album as well as make it their first single. Introducing a new drummer for the umpteenth time was already gonna make people raise eyebrows..... but to open up with the song that has some of the best drumming on the entire album, really showcasing the depth of talent Alex Bent has, was so incredible and it instantly shot down any doubts people may have had. Trivium is my all time favorite metal band and I hope you react to more of their songs. You earn every subscriber and like you get, man. For reals.

Trivium is my all time favorite band. I'll be seeing them for a 3rd time this October. This new album of theirs has helped me through a lot of personal stuff. It doesn't hurt that this is one of their very best, if not best period, albums ever.

100% agreed. Alex bent is such a great drummer who also loves to play ALOT of different styles (Latin, jazz aswell as black metal, death metal etc) and streams on Twitch aswell. He's super down to earth and he made me love Trivium. The songs on TSATS-album also ignited a spark in me to practice the drums all in. :')
