I'm hoping that the AOMR map editor will be more feature complete than the others, I at least hope we get a functional unit editor. Though they said in the xbox showcase that they've used actual particle effects this time so... hopefully the game will be more mod-friendly. Looking forward to your tutorials.
that would open so much possibilities for customization ! I mean, aside from the community's updated editors, the main one remains the same for 20 years. So yeah, fingers crossed they will definitely give us a refined version with so many features & quality of life !

I still have trouble making a random event timer (one that plays an event only once and one that can play an event multiple times). With enough people bashing they're heads against this, I think we can figure everything out without needing a degree in computer science and 3-4 job experience.
well, if im understanding correctly, you want an event to happen everytime its conditions are fullfilled? U just use the "Loop" option on the trigger. Otherwise it only plays once. And funny enough, I feel like AOM's trigger system is pretty simple. Once you know what each condition/effect do. Which I will be covering fully !
Hi there, all units upgrades need to be done through triggers. Set the tech status to which upgrade you want (heavy infantry, heavy cavalry...etc), and ofc the condition needs to be "always".
