If they are given time. Studio Pierrot can really treat us. Bleach and Naruto were their flagship animes after all.
Black Clover should have been a seasonal anime from the start though
It was technically seasonal when it started airing. Originally set as a 51 episode (4 cours) season. It was only near when they hit that mark that they announced it would be long running.

There is no such thing as "flagship" because its not like Black Clover and Boruto was not treated the fights have always been the strong points and same was the cycle followed when Bleach and Naruto aired.
@@pheonixx2861 Boruto was definitely prioritized over Black Clover when both started airing. It was only later on that Pierrot realized the potential Black Clover had.
@@Fanimei Who knows what the production committee thought but allottment wise both shows had stacked KA's although BC had even less in-between animators but I blame the studio because the shortage of in-between animators is still not resolved even in the case of Bleach TYBW as well as Boruto.

@@Interlink. Black clover needs a filler episode list to skip, but it absolutely hit hard at the culmination of it's first main arc. It took a while, but they used so many things I didn't expect. I admittedly watched a ton of episodes while looking at my phone because there's gotta be 30 solid episodes of Asta screaming impotently while completely blind to the entire cast of females fawning over him. Doesn't take away from the quality of writing and planning, but did delay the payoff.

Yoshihiro Tominaga (Producer of Pierrot works: Akudama Drive & Bleach TYBW) has established a new studio - " Pierrot Films ".
the 3rd and 4th cour of Bleach TYBW will be produced by this sub-studio - "Pierrot Films" and not by the main Studio Pierrot.
Tominaga stated that "Pierrot Films" was established in order to adapt manga aimed at an older audience and also create high quality anime originals.
Tominaga also stated that this new studio aims to to create works that rival the likes of Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen.

This may also hint at a "Tokyo Ghoul" & "Kingdom" Anime reboots. These are two seinen IP's under Pierrot.
Also interesting that Bleach also falls under these "anime made for an older audience".
Kingdom will most likely not gonna have a remake it's still ongoing it's produced by another peirrot sub studio called signpost and it's basically for Japanese audience kingdom is literally had no influence in west beside it's being the most popular senin manga with great sales every year and by far anime quality has increased a great from previous parts so it's very unlikely they gonna aim for a remake instead of Producing new seasons

seasonal schedules are never a bad thing, it's a win win for everyone, the studio gets more time to work on a small amount of episodes and we as the viewers get more better and polished productions as a result.

I really want Boruto to return. No hate on Bleach or Black Clover but i have no interest in them but i think all three series would benefit having a small filler like canon arc within the episodes for lasting content. Example...
Boruto when he leaves with Sasuke after Eida and Kawaki use that jutsu on earth. They can show us stuff after he leaves with Sarada and Sumire adjusting the change and Boruto training with Sasuke like in Two Blue Vortex which will be a great lead to his part 2 anime adaption
So basically what you are talking about is pretty much filler based on canon events from the manga. Problem is you need someone like Kishimoto to approve of such ideas. Boruto training and constantly being hunted down a lot makes great content but the problem is there isn’t enough manga material to provide stories.
@@Vietmac1993 hope you realized the anime being over looked by kodachi who basically 2nd man of kishimoto since he took over and no, boruto writers has expanded on multiple stuff that barely had mentions that are in the manga. the problem relies on how many episodes it should be, and how it should be layed out and how efficiently can it progress the story, we don’t want 20 episodes when it didn’t even progress the story
@@brucewillis9095 I don't have a personal issue with filler. My issue with filler just like everyone else is how long they are and how irrelevant the plots are. I think of most fillers as useless side quests. A few side quests are fine but too many takes a lot of attention away from the main quest.
@@Vietmac1993 you’re not wrong, filler can be great breather, but honestly boruto anime was just poorly planned, felt like the story didn’t really progress the story until damn near 200 episodes, boruto anime could be so much better if they just started when boruto is half way or near way done since is monthly, so that way the anime crew weren’t force to basically come up with anime canon stuff, hopefully with the break they’re taking, everything can be planned out accordingly cause the manga is fire all the way,
@@brucewillis9095 too much filler lowers the quality of the anime. I agree with you about the fillers of Boruto. A huge majority of the Boruto anime is filler. Some of it was enjoyable like Boruto's academy days, the time travel arc, Kawaki going undercover in the academy, but most of it is unwatchable.

Another thing is that that peirrot had shifted bleach to there newly launched sub studio 'peirrot films' so I think they are thinking of starting to work on bc or boruto slowly. Hope a better future for studio and better treatment for boruto,bleach,bc and other studio peirrot shows

@@PWN18 Exactly. Who would've known such an iconic studio that animated likes of Yu Yu Hakusho has now fall short of animators. Also idk why the concept that the team at studio only works at 1 anime it is pretty much obvious that teams of them are allotted to different projects. If that'd be the case how tf Mappa produced two shows airing the same season.
Boruto really deserves some decent animation for it episodes
I think that is a good assessment of what Studio Pierrot will do. But it is also important that they also do more projects to grow and have more IP’s while giving others breaks and return to do more seasonal stuff like they are doing with Bleach. One idea that they might do is go back to other older series that ended before the manga ended like Hikaru no Go. I say that cause a few months ago Pierrot did an art piece for their 45th anniversary and from there were YuYu Hakusho, Naruto/Botuto, Bleach, Black Clover, and Hikaru no Go. So I think doing a special final season or movie would do along with the help of Yumi Hotta to give it more finality would be more work for Pierrot during those breaks in between.
Pierrot has a good thing going with this new system I think. In the future I wouldnt mind seeing them pick up new IPs.
Editor-kun that was Mizuki from that one filler where he broke out of ninja jail and took kind of drug from Orochimaru lol also Bleach TYBW been amazing so far hope it continues like that plus BC anime should've been treated so much better
Bleach still has 2 cours left, and they need time in between them to work on the show. So id say Bleach cour 3 is this Fall. Then at minimum Bleach cour 4 would be at Fall 2025. The president o Pierrot did say people who watch Bleach is probably the same audience that watch Demon Slayer and JJK so he wanted to deliver visuals that live up to those. And you`d need a generous amount of pre production time, at least 9 months, to deliver that without pulling a MAPPA.
Also it has already been leaked by reputable people that Black Clover has been greenlit to come back. So I think thats the first one theyd get to which I beilive would be in 2026.
Sadly all this does push Boruto back more and more. It just depends on, as you said, would they alternate between Boruto and Black Clover or only stick to one. Black Clover has ALOT of material to adapt and I do think its in their best interest to just let Boruto Two Blue Vortex build in the background for the foreseeable future. I mean just look at what TOEI is doing with DB Super and both DBS and Boruto are monthly Vjump manga.
Black clover is not only in its final arc but its final chapters. It would make sense to focus on BC first. I hope they also do the tybw approach and add stuff tabata would like to flesh out the last few arcs. If thats the case then i would be so hyped.

Don’t think I’d have to address this in 2024 but I’ve got two 1:56 bleach does not have bad filler if you’re a bleach fan then you know this there really only two filler arcs in bleach the bount arc and the zanpakto arc I personally think both arcs are a fun change of pace from the main story. But at the very least if you’re an actually bleach fan then you know cause it’s been said by many a bleach fan that the bount arc is actually pretty good and worth the watch . Second is the bad animation Naruto did not have bad animation especially for the amount of episodes and weekly schedule. The thing the people do not seem to understand is there is a difference between between bad art and bad animation there’s plenty of scenes with some questionable art in Naruto that’s a given things happen with long running shonen. But taking a still frame of an in between shot of something that’s literally just meant to be a transition frame not even actual art and calling bad animation or art just goes to show how much you and many fans know. It’s the same with dragon ball fans when they hate on super for quote on quote bad animation even though dragon ball super has some of the best art and animation not only in dragon ball but even in the industry. Naruto as well many like to point to Naruto vs pain for an example of bad animation or art. When that wasn’t even bad the art style was different and ig to someone’s perspective yes that could be considered bad but animation wise that fight is very underrated.
I’ve been saying this for a while the bount arc was not that bad yes it was slow but fight whew good and it might jst be me I like random lore about the show they put in filler and they put one of ichigo best speeches in bount arc

to be honest i think for boruto its a win. one of the reasons i didnt like the anime is that they adapted the manga waay to early. the sp cold anime cannon episodes they added as a buffer for the manga were honestly poorely executed. great idea but bad execution. boruto being seasonal will bring back many people . the manga is good, not the best but certainly not bad and it needs an anime counterpart equivalent to that. hope it gets adapted last to build up the manga content .
I’m excited because if they do Boruto seasonal, they will probably cut out the filler and stick to the manga(which is actually pretty good). I know that they haven’t caught up to all of the Boruto manga, and haven’t done any of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. I think they’ll wait for Boruto two blue vortex to end or finish the Boruto manga and then do a Boruto two blue vortex show.

@@robinsr4745 I know people say this a lot but DS is legit mostly carried by animation. I mean Ufotable cooked with it but if more anime at that time had similar or comparable animation it's flaws would shout a lil bit more. I loved Season 1 of DS so I picked up the manga. I dropped it so fast I don't even remember reading most of it. Then Mugen train and season 2 came out and I actually liked it which confused me. So I picked up the manga again and figured out the story itself I find boring and can't invest and the art was also meh. I read through the entire manga this time and well it's not the worst I've read, not even close, it's just a 5-6/10. The anime is an 7-8/10 if that makes sense. But I can still see why it popped off the way it did.

Only one disagreement I had was the typical "don't pause Naruto" moments you mentioned. Naruto's bad animation in between the great fights actually had very good stills, but horrible movement.
In fact, the Sasuke one you showed that is often brought up is from one of Naruto's best animated fights (vs. Orochimaru). This fight was actually choreographed and key animated by the same guy that did Naruto vs Sasuke part 1 and pretty much led the revolution of Naruto being the anime with the most stellar fight choreography at its time.
The stretch effect of conveying real impact causes these moments, but it's sort of a seesaw where ironically the "Don't pause Naruto" shots all come from the best animated moments of Naruto while the garbage filler episodes actually have much more consistent shots due to largely static animation.

2:09 Disagree. One Piece was the worst filler because it couldn’t be skipped. It padded every moment in the show. You’d have to have your finger on the fast forward button to skip it or watch on a higher video speed. That’s no way to enjoy a show, imo. At least Naruto and Bleach fillers could be skipped. Besides, filler wasn’t actually that bad. It only really hurt in the moment when you had to wait. There’s no reason to be bummed now when you can just skip if you don’t want to watch. Also, the mask episode with Kakashi was a good time. Some of the Naruto filler was very memorable.

What you are talking about is called pacing, not filler
Lol that Sasuke scene was not a mistake. It was from one of the best animated episodes in the anime and animated by one of the best animators in the industry. That's an inbetween and is not meant to be paused. Sasuke was drawn like that so there is more impact when he throws the fire ball. Educate yourself.
Obviously, Patience is key for all of this.
Black clover and boruto are in a weird spot due to still having ongoing manga, Boruto being monthly per usual and now black clover has struck a quarterly schedule which isn't necessarily bad news for its return but i guess its worrisome for the possible future. For all we know, They could already be working on black clover or boruto, But my obvious hope is more black clover.
I can't see them waiting until bleach is finished considering the new hell arc and the possibility of them adapting the novel's. Bleach already has a ton of content to adapt anyways, But its also possible they want to finish bleach before jumping into black clover simply because of their schedules.
There's also the rise of the new studio pierrot films. On the brighter side, this could mean black clover comes back sooner rather than later.
But its likely they'll wait until bleach is over if not until its final cour to continue the others
black clover being on jump giga just helps the issue.If the new season comes,it will help boost manga popularity before it ends

the change in approach was obviously influenced by bleach, but the focus has been to make seasonal shows that flow smoothly while the source materials also build their way up. Yatagarasu (the raven does not choose its master) airing right now has been Pierrot's test drive for shows working in that format
As much as I appreciate the new approach, black clover definitely needed that weekly release schedule cuz the show would definitely have been cancelled in between without letting its storytelling grow as consistently upward as it did; and now they can freely adapt the manga till the end of the spade invasion or even the end of the land of the sun with the seasonal format in place

Besides, it’s been like 15 years since the end of Bleach, I think Bleach deserves to be the focus of attention for a while. 3 years isn’t that awful especially if Pierrot is switching to seasonal releases.
Man if BC was seasonal from the jump
The Black Clover manga's move to Giga Magazine was the best thing that happened to it in 2023, because this will leave a small difference between the anime and the number of manga chapters, thus delaying the rest of the seasons.. It is better for the studio to leave Black Clover for now and focus on Other anime to work on, and I hope that the anime will return after the manga is completely finished. Even if this takes a long time, this will give to the staff more time and they will work more comfortably and thus with greater quality.
I can see that yes but people might lose interest in black clover if they take too long as well. And if they take too long the anime could be completely dropped which i hope doesnt happen. I do hope they dont rush it tho.
Don't forget that there is also possibility of Naruto remake being in production
There is no Naruto remake, its only those 4 episodes that will be OVA's, making a remake is counter productive

Whenever i see studio pierrot name, i just want them or other studio to remake Yu yu hakusho, and do adjustment to the last arc of the show the 3 kings arc with the advise from togashi , it wold be perfect for me.

Honestly? Yes. Let them Take their Time. The Studio can backlog and not have to Filler, they can focus on one property so everthing is on model, No rush having multple shows out means everything looks great.

Boruto still has 10 more chapters in Part 1 they haven't adapted yet.
Boruto is a monthly manga and honestly the overwhelming amount of fillers ruined the quality of the story. There isn’t enough content for animation yet.
@@Vietmac1993 It wasn't the amount of filler but the quality of the filler. If the filler episodes has as much attention put into it as the canon ones no one would care. I definitely want to see Ouga come back and do stuff.
They should do seasonal, make half the season an anime-only arc, and the other half manga stuff. That way they'll have good content and won't catch up.

Still waiting for the Naruto 4 episode remakes
Tbh as a boruto fan myself I wouldn’t bring the boruto anime back. Instead I would first adapt the Naruto light novels that cover the post War saga to when Naruto became hokage ( which is about 10 years in the time line called the blank period ) so you have 3 Naruto anime’s:
Naruto - covers part 1
Naruto Shippuden - covers part 2
Naruto Hiden - covers after the war but before boruto so the part 3
Then you redo the boruto anime and you can now adapt part 1 with no filler and adapt the light novels in order. I believe if they take this approach you get Naruto fans to engage with the media, you fix the boruto filler issues and best of all you give the Second part of the boruto manga more time ti get ahead before you adapt it. Tbh Boruto TBV shouldn’t even be animated till 2028-2029 at the earliest and by then the manga should be half way to almost done
at this moment black clover has 100 chapters to animate . where 60 chapters r from spade arc . most of it is fights and fast paced fights too so it might cover 3-4 chapters per episode .
if they animate black clover as a seasonal then spade will take 15-18 episodes at best . lets say they add extra anime original fights or scenes then may be 20 episodes. as for boruto my suggestion is dont adapt anything for another 2 years . its a monthly but chapters r short especially when they fight even those 40 pages feel short and anime will run through those episodes really quickly.
Rest of the spade saga animated is gonna be at least 24 episodes,2 cours.3 chapters per episode max just like before.That means 20 episodes but its obvs gonna be extended with anime content that tabata couldnt add in the manga.And if the numbers still dont match up they can use content during 2nd timeskip that we didnt get to see in the manga.

I gotta disagree with you one piece filler is bad also it's just not as prevalent.
People don't realize how much abandoning long series and moving to seasons improved the quality of anime.
There are even people blinded by nostalgia who believe that long series were better.Apart from obvious things like fillers or poor animation, this type of production was simply unhealthy.The studios had to work hard to come up with ways to drag out a chapter from the manga and add a bunch of bullshit that only gets in the way.Look what's happening with One Piece right now. Although Toei does not use good methods and is not good at dragging, Still One Piece would be much better if it were not a long series but seasonal series.That's why so many people are happy about the remake because they know that because it will be seasonal, they will finally get good pacing.
The fact that Black Clover started as a long series was a joke, something like that shouldn't have happened and I don't understand why they messed with something that clearly doesn't work anymore.And don't even get me started on Boruto XD.No matter what methods Studio Pierrot chooses, I'm just glad that they finally abandoned their stupid method of making anime and finally I won't have to worry about the quality of adapation

That breakdown of the Boruto manga is just terrible, if you read any chapter you would know how little the story actually progresses within a chapter and making one chapter = one episode is the most ludicrous thing you could say.

Bleach arc 3 (12 chapters)
Boruto: Sarada 3rd Tomoe arc and Omnipotence arc (15 chapters)
Black clover: two seasons ( 30 chapters)
Bleach final arc (12 chapters)
Black clover final arc (20 chapters)
And Boruto Two Blue Vortex (300 chapters) 😎✌️

They opened a sub studio called pierrot films where bleach and other projects will be animated. The mcdonalds anime and maybe other future projects are handeled by a different part of the studio now.

It’s pros and cons to it but I personally like year long runs

Seasonal IS THE WAY to go for any manga adaptation. Long Runnig Series was a mistake
