The dub is great, lol. 4:20 this scene is basically quiet in the Japanese version, but Banner telling Chumley to eat poisonous berries after all of his complaining is comedy gold, lol

Interesting fact about Banner's cat. In every shot showing Pharaoh's behind in the dub, the footage is censored so that Pharaoh's balls are missing, which isn't the case in the original version of the series. Yes, you read that correctly: 4kids neutered Banner's cat.
I love that the villains of the week all choose to settle things by dueling Jaden, not knowing that dueling is the one thing he's good at.

But I still love syrus, he was always my favorite character from GX. And its his character development that amazed me a lot as a kid. He started off as a silly scared kid who always doubted himself until as the series went on, he became more serious and always ready to help his friends.

This series was such a big part of my childhood, Jaden is probs my favorite mc in YGO.
Everything about him is what I like. He’s that friend we all would have loved to have & deserve to.
Supportive, positive, energetic & happy.
If you think about it the foreshadowing is amazing, the cat finding and activating an ancient artifact, the triple sun's like helious magistis or whatever, and the neo space effect. All in about 1 minute

@@totalwartimelapses6359 That ain't no joke. One of my most recent games on Master Duel was against a Gravekeeper deck, and it made me wish I had a little more removal than I usually run.
And then Duel Links (and probably some other video games released prior) gave this deck to Ishizu. It fits, yet they were not introduced during the original series. I do like that archetype, but hate how Necrovally seemed near impossible to acquire in that game.

I wish they gave other characters more screentime, like alexis or cyrus. Seeing only jaden fight makes it kinda monotonous.
They get better about it in Season 4… Which the west never got a dub of.
I feel because the original gave the side characters in the original too much screentime and not enough on Yugi himself.

Reminds me of the Pokémon episode Legend of Dratini. It was banned by 4kids due to multiple guns being pointed directly at Ash. Ironically banning that episode ruined continuity because that was the episode where Ash caught his thirty Tauros in the Safari Zone, using all thirty Safari Balls given to him. One of the Tauros went on to be a staple member of Ash's team.

Is it me or does this two parter seem very easy to forget? I always thought that the Shadow Riders arc started right after Jaden’s school duel with Chazz until I saw this episode again.

So at 18:20 could he not have used Gravekeeper’s Assailant to change Jaden’s Rottweiler to attack mode, destroyed it and won right there?
jaden had a facedown ready to prevent something like that
It's a safer play to get rid of the opponent's stronger monster if you're ever able to. Even if he did attack Wroughtweiler in Attack Mode, Jaden would still be left with 300 life points.
The Gravekeeper Chief totally had game in that last play! If he had used Gravekeeper's Assailant's (Yasmin's) effect on Rottweiler to switch him to Attack Mode and attack with Yasmin, would've been enough to wipe out his Life Points. It's just too bad that the plot made the Chief misplay there BIG TIME.
