A very cool detail I just noticed - The Screen in Danganronpa V3 looks like a screen from the Nintendo Virtual Boy which was the first 3D Console that was worn like a Virtual Reality Device as we have it nowadays. It was only capable of showing things in red and black. It looks so similar and considering Chiakis many easter eggs regarding consoles I feel this is intentional. Especially since Danganronpa 2 plays in a virtual world.
DR1: everyone gets pulled by their arm. DR2: Everyone gets pulled by their hair. DRV3: Everyone gets pulled by both or runs away. Except Kaede who gets pulled by her ahoge.
The DR1 characters get pulled by a rope/chain like the ones you see chaptee one killers get dragged by, and you can see their arms trying to take it off or flail about.
0:00 the color should be only black and white with no brick design at the back just a plain 8bit and instead of appearing junko I suggest it would be monokuma's face and dragging chiaki just like the theme of TTH. The first games pre executuon animation is actually genius. I'm so sad that they changed the chibi sprites, because in the first game, the way they were animated added symbolism - Monokums white "innocent looking" side is visible as he walks over to the culprits, the culprits actually REACT to him appriaching, and when they are dragged away they kick their legs and scream- at that point, we can only see Monokumas black more devious looking side of his face. He was like the grim reaper, dragging them to their demise. I loved that detail, and the music really gave it a creepy aura. At least V3 has them actually SCREAM, but that's about it ... Dr2s anination sucked
Always amused that the first game used the sound effects from the version of Donkey Kong made by Coleco for the Atari 2600 - which is one of the go-to Atari games for the most generic video game sounds, the other being Atari's Pac-Man.
