I installed Crawl Control onto my GX460 this morning and used this video to complete the Zero Point Calibration! Quick and easy! Thanks again for another great video!
Just did mine and everything worked and connected. For those wondering, there is no message that comes up after you drive for 10s at 25-30mph. I assume it will work once I use it on a trail. On pavement it behaves like my 4Runner, so it's safe to assume it works. PS. Also used large paperclip, cut it in half, it was the only one I found in the house!
1) Turn on accessory power then touch paper clips together four times and release, look for lights and turn off accessory power. 2) Hold paper clips together and turn on accessory power, while continuing to hold paper clips together switch on the crawl control switch and watch for the light on dash. All lights will be on and/or flashing, turn off accessory power. 3) Go for a drive at 25 mph in straight line for 10 seconds or more and then the lights will turn off and you're done. Is this correct?
Thanks for the video. BTW, where did you get the windshield sunshade? I looked at a few stores and they aren't the right size. Yours looks correct. They are approximately 24x50 inches?
Hi Arnaldo, please check my installation video, it has all the information and links on the modules. Check in the video description: th-cam.com/video/b_y9n79YZjU/w-d-xo.html
Hey no problem! Also make sure you look for the correct part number for your model year, there's different ones depending on your model year GX so that's why I can't tell you. If you need more help and can't figure it out just let me know.

Well technically it's the last pins (that have metal contacts inside) around the middle of obd port, those are the last 2 pins that have the metal contacts sitting next to each other (top & bottom row). Hope this makes sense 😎

You go for the drive for 10 seconds with crawl control activated?
No, drive for the zero point calibration
The video was extremely helpful! Thanks for the excellent content!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching! 👊🏼
You rock
Thanks brother 👊🏻
the concept is the same but the process is different for a 2002 LS430, correct?
Should be the same on all Lexus/Toyota products. Maybe someone else can drop a comment to confirm?
Thanks for the video. BTW, where did you get the windshield sunshade? I looked at a few stores and they aren't the right size. Yours looks correct. They are approximately 24x50 inches?
Hi Dante, you're welcome 👍🏼 I always buy custom made sunshades for all my cars. Go on eBay or Amazon and search for "gx460 sunshade"
Did I miss it ? What 😳 ports u use? Thx bud
Looks like counting from left to right it's pins number 5 top and bottom

You're welcome 👍🏻
worked for me with paper clips :) thanks
Gotta love those paper clips 😁
@@DIYSpeedGarage are you on GXOR ?
I’m on club Lexus forums, I think one of the moderators “Acrad” linked my posts from club Lexus on the gxor forums.
Cool video, I learned a lot
Thanks for watching my video 👍
So you have those paper clips in the last port in each row correct?
Give me a sec.... Gotta check my video 😂

@@DIYSpeedGarage lol I know I know, dumb question. It looks like it in the video but I had to ask. I’ll bury my head now …
It's ok buddy, no shame in measuring twice and cutting once 😉
@@DIYSpeedGarage just got it done ✅ thanks for the direction. I might do the MTS next
can i do on subaru brz?
It's possible but I'm not 100% sure, it depends if the Subaru BRZ uses the Toyota system.
@@DIYSpeedGarage can work on toyota gt86/ft86? brz & subaru same system also.
@@DIYSpeedGarage count from pin number one then put the pin on number 4. correct?
Then yes, it will work if it's the same.
@@DIYSpeedGarage what happen if i put the wrong pin number? is it can damage other parts or etc?
What the purpose of doing this?
I guess it's to register the new add ons from what i know, that way the vehicle recognizes the new features
Thank's bro....
Very welcome 😎
