@@JOHNSMITH-vx5yz Well...in the case of Star Wars Outlaws(by Ubisoft)....they are notorious for ripping gamers off with expensive micro-transactions. They recently pulled thier server support for the game The Crew(which means even if you owned a physical copy, you can no longer play the game.) Their upcoming Star Wars game is the biggest example of their incessant greed. The standard edition costs $70...which is incomplete, as it is missing a DLC. Their gold edition is $110 and gives you the missing DLC, early access, and a season pass. For $130...you get everything, including outfits and an artbook. Ubisoft also gives you the option to pay $18 a month, for access to select games from their cloud library(as well as access to a 100 PC games....which is bullsh*t, if you are strictly a console game player.)Another reason not to pre-order, is that some companies(like Red Projekt)....release bug-ridden pieces of malfunctioning sh*t(such as Cyberpunk 2077)...perhaps you've heard of it??

do some research on the developers past projects and how they marketed them. You shouldn't believe their trailers frame for frame. At this point im not even hyped for gta6, that way if any of these games are fun I'll be in for a pleasant surprise, like i was with elden ring, the last fun game i played back in 2022
Its Pearl Abyss, they made Black Desert Online which not only has amazing gameplay but is visually amazing especially for when it was released. Not worried about gameplay or visuals for Crimson Desert. Story is something im concerned about though. Overall looking forward to it. They built a good reputation with BDO with them fixing bugs in days instead of weeks or months like other Devs. Very excited
Most games do, until they are released. I have learned to never trust trailers, never pre-order and never buy a game on release day. Wait a while.

Unrecord uses the Body-Cam persoective to such perfection, that along with the incredible use of Unreal Engine 5 makes that game feel so visceral

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is going to be MASSIVE! We’re told instead of making multiple DLC’s they are dropping one big one knowing a lot of the appeal to Elden Ring is the massive new areas to explore. 🤯

Unrecord is incredible looking, assuming that's anything close to the actual gameplay. Spine to me basically looks like a modern Spiderman game with guns and without Spiderman.
I think the two games that I found most interesting are both games with Project in the title (Project TH and Project M). It seems both are also coming out of Korea, which seems to be a rising star for cool games as far as I'm concerned.

Jeez don't get enough straight romances already but that's not even the point developers want you to pay 70 for a game then come out dlc’s later that should've came with the game also they really need to work on script to give characters diversity tbh all they need is to use AI

I really hope SH2 remake delivers. Wu kong is what I am hyped about. I'll be shocked if Crimson actually releases this year.
Im hoping the delay on sh2 remake is to sort out a lot that looks wrong with it. I loved sh 1,2 and 3 so i hope they do it justice, i can wait for a great remake, but defo not in a rush for a rushed remake.

I wish they would quit making single player only games. Some of these in Co-op would be amazing.
im hoping they release Marvel 1943 gameplay footage soon. the cutscene trailers always look amazing but im hoping it doesn't feel like the other marvel games they dropped.
Funny thing is they are single player games and by the time they drop people will be complaining about not having coop or multi-player

I wonder how many of these games in development will (unfortunately) fail to see the light of day? I hope they'll all reach the finish line. On another note, I think some developers are confusing flashy effects with epic gameplay and it's creating a bit of a mess for on-screen interpretation.

A lot of these games look visually stunning... some of them look like they have clunky mechanics eg: Bloodlines, and some are of a boring subject matter eg: Marvel.

The Enemies in SPINE look like they just stand there waiting to get killed instead of attacking & dodging, the game lacks any challenge by the looks of it.
Silent Hill 2 looked underwhelming tbh.

I’m going to buy Stalker 2 and I bet I’ll enjoy it and I would support that studio no matter what BUT the cutscenes so far are melodramatic in the absolute extreme and worse, they appear to be taking themselves 100% seriously. Embarrassingly bad.

I guess the only games allowed to be made anymore have to have a female protagonist "girl boss" who can single-handedly take on an entire army of men, monsters or aliens. 😂
Games have now more dynamics, actions and better graphics but they lack good story compare to old games. Now it is more about "killing time" than playing something inspiring with real life values.
