I cut all the lights out in my room, turned the sound up on my computer, with the effect of the lighting and thunder it felt as though I was right there with Jim in the storm. Nice visual effects.
This takes me back to my childhood, spending time with my grandparents at their summer camp in upstate New York. The camp was in the mountains, and the thunderstorms seemed to be right on top of us.

The raccoon I had years ago had gotten out and was gone 3 days...I remember opening the front door and there she was standing in the heavy rain soaked to the skin standing in the dark...She ran in the house and straight to the toilet to get water...she was so thirsty after being out for 3 days..
