I really appreciated those little road trips with Mr. Blackwood. He drives so well and it is strangely relaxing to me, as if I was in the car with him. It just empties my mind of any stresses. I wish this one would have been longer, but then I was happy to see Connor devoring that donut! I really hope Mr Blackwood continues to take us with him on his car rides and errands. It is like a balm on the hassles of my life.

My male cat is picky but the female eats whatever I put down. Problem getting canned cat food in Los Angeles. Markets out of a lot of the food the male eats. This morning I found out he hated this new brand.
Another ride in the car with Jim Blackwood! Nobody else was on the road, but it was a smooth ride in the Jeep. Winter is definitely NOT over in Churchville, Nova Scotia. Make sure you don’t push yourself too hard with the shovel and the snowblower. Take rest periods. Breathing in the cold air can make your heart work harder. Mr. Connor just about attacked that donut! Cats have scent glands in their paws. When Jim's scent mixes with Connors it creates a mixed scent that he (Connor) identifies as friendly. Basically Connor showing his love for Jim. Really cute and a good indicator he's Jim's cat :)

Here in Massachusetts we have a grocery chain called Market Basket. I had a black cat named Sonic who could smell their plain cake donuts through the grocery bag and through the box when I came home with them. Heaven help you if you did not produce said donut for the cat immediately after entering the house. If you took too long, he would rip open the plastic grocery bag and then tear open the box of donuts!! I think it had something to do with the shortening or lard used to make them. 😂😂😂
