  • 2nd day of using only DirectMode. Played on PS5 DualSense Controller. DirectMode has an exact 20% deadzone which was revealed using deadzone testing software on 3 different new-ish non abused controllers (PS5 DualSense, Xbox Elite Series 2 Core and an Xbox Series X/S controller). There was no in-game deadzone controller difference using factory stock controller configuration, aside from a hardware deadzone variation between the 3 controllers.

Top handling. What do you recommend for normal ps5 controller? If i turn off direct mode

I haven't properly tested the new settings yet. Only just briefly and because I'm so used to the sensitivity of wheel input I felt comfortable with 100 sensitivity and 100 dynamic lock even. But from what others prefer in the general community, they typically prefer within the 60-80 range for both settings. It's really just personal preference though. Especially the sensitivity. The dynamic max lock is essentially 'how much tire scrub do you want to be in control of'. As it limits your steering range the faster you go, helping you to keep the car more stable especially, if you're used to tap steering.
For the linearity of standard controller, I personally used 0, with 0 deadzone (which is still a 22% deadzone, thanks IVT...) and I used 100 highest for my steering. These are the settings when *not* using directmode.
