I am a child care provider so I see a many many babies! And I just want to say the way you are with your baby is incredible! With her taking steps and knowing how to drink from a straw and her being able to eat a cucumber! Absolutely incredible! So amazing to see!!! Definitely how it should be done!!!

By reading the comments I feel extremely happy because my mom even though she isn't vegan the only thing she fed me for the first 3 years in my life was only fruits and veggies and later beans lentils and more . First time I ate meet was when I was 6. I feel proud of you mom. 😚😚😚😋😋( and today is her birthday) 🎊🎉🎊🎉🎁🤓🤓🤓

ya boo she probably won't. even if she tries it, It will make her stomach hurt and she won't want it again. meat causes indigestion. I tried vegetarian for a minute and when I went back to eating meat, my stomach hurt like hell.

nindy shanty veggies are pretty good for the brain, I'm sure her brain will be fine...and the skin is the biggest organ so it's also pretty important.
Yep it is the biggest part of our body yet not the major one. What I meant here was brain which is the most important organ to think, make decision, etc as u know the other important function. The importance of brain does not occur rite now as most healthy babies (without major defect) will show active response, just wait for her until in school age then you will notice the importance of nerve cell and brain that differentiate one to another

I hate seeing comments saying "she's not eating enough" or "there's not enough protein in her diet" at her if you were feeding her a normal non vegan diet she would be eating processed unhealthy baby food so I am all for babies eating vegan because it's 1000 times better than what would come in jars of baby food.. and she's getting everything she needs from breast milk
Kya Hatcher i find it bizarre when people say "infants shouldnt be vegan" because infants ought to be on breastmilk or formula no matter who you ask in the first place, which is generally 100% vegan. also no doctor would ever recommend you give your child meat or cheese at such a young age, its devastating to their digestion in the longterm. to me it immediately proves that the person has no clue about babies and just wants to believe veganism is harmful.

I stumbled upon your page by accident but I'm glad I did. I want to raise my daughter to love healthy foods and my family takes it personal that I don't want to give her meat, candy, and popsicles. I don't believe she needs those things in her diet to prosper. Your beautiful baby girl is doing just fine. It's the reassurance I need.
Sahara Wren our society is so messed up. Eating healthy is seen as 'wierd' while giving children sugars is seen as normal! I want my baby to eat as healthy as possible and white sugar is a poison to the body. Keep on the right track. ❤

As soon as I saw that beautiful smile & heard that universal baby giggle, I HAD to subscribe! She made my uterus twitch. She is SOOOOOOO adorable! I had friends & family sneaking my son as a baby koolaid, soda, and fruit when I was trying to have him eat healthy & introduce veggies first. People don't respect your wishes. And it's really hard when you need help/babysitter.
Sya Meze I went through the same. My mom doesn't give my son soda and kool-aid, but fast food. She gives him chicken nuggets, my son will be 2 next week.

It is an absolute shame and travesty that we subsidize things like sugar and sell and promote packaged and junk foods so cheaply here, when fruits and veggies should be what every baby grows up on. Look at that happy, well adjusted baby! I think it is beautiful when a baby can have a chance at a healthy life, like this.

I absolutely hate how people think babies shouldn't be vegans; store bought baby food is literal shit. When I was baby my mom my mother made me homemade baby food with ALL FRUIT & VEGGIES; she also gave me loads of beans and rice. My mother is not vegan nor vegetarian at all but the doctor recommended this to my mother because it helps babies grow very healthy clearly and they do not really need all that excess amount of calories and fats anyway.. 💛💛

Ceci babies do need fat. they need it for brain development up until they are at least 3.
I 100% agree when I was a baby my mum breastfeed for 2 years and made her own baby food.

Thank you so much for this video. My wife and I are trying to feed our grandson vegan foods when he is at our home. He comes from a high processed food home and we want to give him the healthiest food we can to help his little taste buds realize that there's more out there. It is such a struggle! If you have any food suggestions to help us we would greatly appreciate it.

Good for you for feeding your daughter healthy whole foods instead of doing what SO many parents do and go the Kraft macncheese/chix nuggets/ grilled cheese sandwhich/apple juice route. Babies will definitely eat different foods if you let them, kids in India, China, Mexico othet countries all eat traditonal foods like fruit, tortillas, soup, lentils, and no one bats an eye. Whole food is better food, and you all seem very happy and healthy!
Yes...I am so sick of seeing that..the combo you speak of..and the hot dogs, which are proven linked to childhood leukemia. So much of it is about poverty, too. Vegetables need to be made cheaper, instead of junk foods. There are petitions right now for this, online!
The pediatrician told us to stop giving our toddler juice. (We Only used apple juice once in a while). So we stopped and now he drinks only water and almond milk.
You are exactly right, the financial aspect is great! who can afford to buy blueberries at our store at $6.00 for a small carton and $9.00 for a large, $6 for strawberries, $5 for a small bag of kale and then whip it all up into a couple smoothies?? and dont say the farmers markets etc, they dont have blueberries here and kale. alot of corn, tomatoes and beans etc, and not that cheap either! you can buy a can of green beans for $1.79 and a pkg of hamburger for $7 and make a meal for a few kids, we only have one grocery store in our little town and there are no whole foods, trader joes, etc around anywhere I know of. Nice thought though.........

okayitsaliciaa I have seen a lot of regular vegan black people on TH-cam But not a lot of raw vegan black people on TH-cam and I am subscribed to a lot as well but they are not that big on youtuber but of course there are a lot more on Instagram and lots more outside of the Internet who own vegan and raw vegan restaurants.

Veganism is not expensive I spend way more money regularly than now I have been vegan a week. Eating meat you will be out of 100$ a week as a vegan I spend 40$ a week. Gtfooh
other foods contain protein, but the question is how much of it can our body absorb, it's hard for our body to absorb protein from fruits and vegetables, so at least eat some eggs or dairy, if you are vegan because of the animals, you can always keep your own chickens.
we are omnivores, that doesn't mean you have to eat like a carnivore, 1 or 2 times a weak meat is enough and some eggs.
especially for children, they have a lot of growing to do

I think it's great to only introduce healthy fruits and vegetables to children, none of my five sons complain about eating their vegetables. They enjoy them and fruit. I know fruits can be acidic and full of ( natural) sugar but with careful brushing and regularly trips to the dentist none of my children have had so much as a filling and they all have beautiful teeth. Children learn behaviour and what's good and bad from their parents so getting them use to good foods etc is a huge positive. New subscriber 🔔

I went vegan over 2 years ago (I was pescatarian before that). I became vegan first for health reasons.

Sachi & Yanna I went vegan for about 3 months and I felt very ill it started off fine but afterwards I started to feel aches and pains aswell as dizziness, so I started to eat fish and chicken (NO red meat ) and felt much better haven't had the pains since. Try if you are curious but I wouldn't say being vegan means that your healthier than others. Goodluck and make sure you get alot of protein even though I was eating nuts I was still feeling different prior to when I was eating meat however everyone is different.
Mina Alexander thank you that's super helpful. and I think it'll be easier to get my husband to go along with it. he's not wanting to give up meat. but I'll try riding of red meat at least. I'm sure that alone will make us feel better
