Granddaddy had a Border collie mix, named Bob, that was a shadow by his side. When g-daddy said it was time to milk the cows, Bob would run down the lane, open the gates and bring the milk cows to the barn. He closed the gates behind the cows too, when it was time for the them to go back to the pasture! Smart Hollie reminds me of Bob.

Mildred so funny,and Jason I love your entertainment. I had so much fun on my grandparents farm,and on my aunts, and uncles farm.One of the funniest thing at my grandparents is they had no grass in yard,but grandma used homemade cane broome to brush yard.We girls made play houses,and always stole my grandmas broome for our playhouse. We always got n trouble for messing up outhouse,according to my grandpa,we used too much of Sears Roebuck catalogs to wipe with,it was extravagant a 2 seater.So much fun with animals,milking cows,gathering eggs,churing butter,going to fields in wagon with mule,and driving wagon,and plowing with mules,Those days long gone,and so missed.Miss my grandparents so much.Grsndma letting us girls,cook,and bake,and sew.Awesome!!!

In the middle of a snow storm here in Iowa. Had 5 inches on the ground from first round of storms and 6 to 8 inches coming with this one. Temps in the single digits for the next 4 days and windy . I would still love to see a few Jacob sheep on the Cog Hill Farm. That breed is just too cool. Their horns are so interesting and the breed is known to be gentle and docile. Since I can't have any farm animals, it's so fun to watch others have them, especially when they are getting treated so well.
I just think its crazy how Joe Moe and moody play its so cute. You need to give tours of your farm. Each one has a personality and that comes from your family and caring about all of them going happy
Why would he want to do that? The liability alone would give me nightmares, the extra insurance, not,to mention these are very busy people. I don’t see the fun part from their end..only the fans fun. So nope they’re too smart to,give up their farming to lead tours.

Also, you're the only other one I've seen doing mechanic work. I too work on all our vehicles. Mainly because it costs too dang much to have someone else do it. He said he was WW2 and Korea Vet.I told him I an a Vet also. His mind is sharp. Couldn't believe he was by himself shopping!!

He is 101 years old,so I thought of your grandpa. He said he was WW2 and Korea Vet.I told him I an a Vet also.

you have wonderful animals they all have such unique personalities, Mildred with her frisky runarounds she does and Jessie i could watch play with her ball all day, i love big mooman his a gentle giant, Nugget is a cheeky very intelligent bird who loves you all that's plain to see and hopefully in time Goldie will not be so shy, the honeymooners are so funny, Loretta doing her victory lap while Gusbus is so laidback, wonderful animals a testament to the love and care you give them

I was so impressed with the moving of Joe today! He was so cooperative. It was as if he knew what you were doing and he wanted to go back to his own pasture and pasture buddies. This is what happens when a goat owner is a gentle and loving person. Much trust and understanding on both sides! Great video.
