I love this interpretation of Caro! Bella!. Two powers negotiating a treaty which makes Egypt a vassal state of Rome's but installs Cleopatra as de jure ruler. Their song was more about the "love" between Rome and Egypt, great power politics, than any love between them as individuals. Love it!

@@ronaldmessina4229 The language is simply called English, not Anglo Saxon. And since not everyone speaks Italian, surtitles / subtitles are quite normal in opera performances and broadcasts. It's OK. 👍
