In an interview, Krysty Wilson-Cairns co-writer of 1917 said that George MacKay never left the day of shooting without shaking everyone's hand. He knew everyone's name, he had time for everyone on set; all the assistants, all the runners, he knew everybody's name. He spent a lot of time learning about them and learning about their lives. How amazing person he is!!!

Such an incredibly humble, wise, articulate, kind person. I love that he chooses offbeat and original films; the thoughtfulness and intention he puts into his work give such deep insight into his characters and their struggles. I'm always profoundly moved by his subtle but powerful acting. One of the best interviews with him I've seen, thank you!!
He's been my crush since How I live now in 2013, I follow a lot of his work and I'm waiting for when he wins the Oscar, because yes, one day he will win this award ❤👏🏻✨️

George is undoubtedly one of the best actors I've ever seen every single film he's starred in has turned out amazing.
I've watched almost every single movie/tv series with him in it, some of them more than once. But still, his performance in 'The outcast' is my favourite and I don't really understand why isn't everybody talking about that. Nobody mentions it in interviews with him, and yes, I watched all of them, too, and this one is the best;)
I'm currently on the mission to watch all his movies/series and the outcast seems impossible to find. at least here in Italy, it's not available on any platform

I really see him in a while holding an oscar. He is such an incredible actor. For what a have read or seen in other interviews he is a method actor? The way he put in the skin of his caracter.
Buy a meeean. He dont need an oscar. A think he has show with his projects the giant actor tha he is. I love that he has chosen the projects for the scrip and history rather than chisen the blockbusters ones.
