- For normal use cases you can probably leave out the vertical Boost Pad at the front.

There may have been people who have discovered these glitched Trap placements first. I'm just linking the videos I learned it from.
Vertical Floor Trap: • How to place boostpads (Placable using a screen shake: Fall Damage, Husk Spawn, Gadgeteer+Airstrike, Lava Bomb, Lava Crack, etc.)
Floor Pyramid Ramp Trap: • [PATCHED] HOW TO PLACE...
For the Pyramid Ramp Trap:
Non-Ramp Floor Traps located below the Pyramid Ramp: Floor Launcher, Boost Pad, directional Jump Pad, vertical Jump Pad
Non-Ramp Floor Traps that don't work: Anti-Air, Defender Pad.
All Ramp Floor Traps will be located above the Pyramid Ramp.

My keyboard is more precise and reliable than my mouse (Steelseries Apex Pro vs. Razer Deathadder) which is why I have re-bound a key on my keyboard to LButton. Sadly that didn't show up as a mouse click in the overlay as I placed the vertical Floor Traps. - เกม

small addition: 0:49 When placing a ramp floor trap like a tar pit with that angle it will be attached to the pyramid ramp but float above it and act as a normal floor trap.

Hi. How do you place the boost pads vertical so it launches you up and not down. I can place them but never can get them to work
During a screen shake you can place two different variations of a trap. One facing up and one facing down.
Figure out the right timing or attempt more.
It may also be affected by where you stand on the floor and where you are facing. I'm not 100% sure how tho.
Also, any screen shake works for this. Aside from Fall Damage you can use Gadgeteer+Airstrike, Husk spawn, Lava Bomb, Lava Cracks, etc..

Yo, sorry for the late answer I stepped away from my account for a bit. Sadly the floor trap on pyramid ramp got fixed. You can find what's currently working in the matrix in the whitewalker discord.

Dude I can't get the directional pad for the life of me
For normal use cases dual boost pad and normal or dual directional pad should be fine (so only using the pyramid ramp method). You don't need vertical traps for moving inside the map.
