I don't know what happened when I chose "make sub d friendly": the curve was all distorted. I had to first extrude, later convert to SubD in the "SubD Tools" menu. Thanks for this excellent class!
Could you please show how to transform already existing human models... for example change their posture... or how to make a human from scratch. Thank you so much
Hi Paula, regarding 'making human from scratch', I am sorry I will be using it as part of courseware for my Sub-D course in Singapore. So sorry about that. I don't really earn much from youtube so I have to have income elsewhere. So sorry. As for making human with posture, you can try using Makehuman or Daz studio. Both software are free. After posing, you can import them into rhino via OBJ. From there you can convert them to Sub-D then NURBS by following the process in this video th-cam.com/video/4CzBMcP4rcA/w-d-xo.html Best regards Sim
Finally, one of the few videos on the web to showcase Rhino's power for organic and human modelling.

is it possible to do this but without polys, because this is how I do it in C4D. can it somehow be done with curves instead?
It is possible model directly using Sub-D. In fact, this demo is in sub-D, I merely toggle between the Flat and Smooth mode using the TAB key. Cheers
@@simpernchong oh, i didn't realize that. thank you so much. I've always wanted to explore sculpting a face using curves. thank you :)
