@@joenava2679 3 br 2 ba. That shed is just like storage... it isn't bad, but not great - and in a weird spot IMO. but also easily moved over to like behind the RV in that area ±. We know guys who can pick them up and move them pretty reasonable.

Plus so many people from California are moving to Texas and I hope that it does not change the way CA is now... I am from CA (still here at the moment) and when I visited KY a couple of years ago I really loved it. I think you may too, best thing to do is do a driving "vacation" in KY and find the best area/ situation for you. From what I saw it was amazing...
@@richardfowler3254 We want to be in a state that has a more conservative and quiet nature. Colorado is quite different than it was 15 years ago, and it saddens us to leave her. But, like so many of our neighbors, we have concluded that our lovely state now is a bit of a quagmire and the once fantastically clean and beautiful Denver is now boarded up and run down with tent cities in different parts of town. A quiet life is what we choose, and Kentucky looks to be the place we'll land. We're driving out in May 22 and we hope it's as beautiful as Brad's videos. Thanks! - I loved California on all my visits there. Over the years from no-cal to so- cal, the ocean and surrounding areas were so beautiful.

Two grand a year for rural home in KY is high comparing to others. Please explain sometime how much autos are charged annually for taxes. Very high compared to many states.

So far Brad the Vinyard with stone house was closest to perfect to me that you shown. But my perfect place would be 150+ acres cant see neighborhoods with some open ground for food plots. I clicked on the link and it said Perryville Kentucky. Which is in Boyle County. I'm not very familiar with that part of the state,but my wife said she used to live in Perryville years ago and liked it. She said it was a small friendly town and she caught alot of fish their. Currently we are in Northern Kentucky. Personally I tend to Dream of Southeast Kentucky. But we have ties holding us here. In large part the Church we go to. My wife has started getting attached to the little ones. For some reason they like riding on her electric wheelchair.

We do get some wind, but take a look at all those rickety tobacco barns on the tops of hills - they have been there 100 yrs - and still standing... But everything is air conditioned, so it is 60s in the morning and night - and 80s in the peak of the day. 3rd - we came from NJ 30 yrs ago - here we enjoy two things that I like: it stays lighter, later - 9:30, its still light out - because we are so close to the next time zone - we like that. 4th - we also enjoy about 3 extra weeks of spring - and 3 extra weeks of fall. Which equates to 6 weeks less winter for me - I'm happy. 5th - we also enjoy average of 3.55" of rain per month - which keeps the grass green and the lakes and reservoirs full. I clicked on the link and it said Perryville Kentucky. Which is in Boyle County. I'm not very familiar with that part of the state,but my wife said she used to live in Perryville years ago and liked it. She said it was a small friendly town and she caught alot of fish their. Currently we are in Northern Kentucky. Personally I tend to Dream of Southeast Kentucky. But we have ties holding us here. In large part the Church we go to. My wife has started getting attached to the little ones. For some reason they like riding on her electric wheelchair.

Hi Scott Dyszelski, Here is a lengthy (sorry) reply I give to folks who ask about storms, weather, etc. Hope you benefit from it:
Couple things - 1st - we are nowhere near tornado alley - you can look that up. We do get some wind, but take a look at all those rickety tobacco barns on the tops of hills - they have been there 100 yrs - and still standing... Secondly, July and August are our hottest months - in the 80s. But everything is air conditioned, so it is 60s in the morning and night - and 80s in the peak of the day.
3rd - we came from NJ 30 yrs ago - here we enjoy two things that I like: it stays lighter, later - 9:30, its still light out - because we are so close to the next time zone - we like that.
4th - we also enjoy about 3 extra weeks of spring - and 3 extra weeks of fall. Which equates to 6 weeks less winter for me - I'm happy.
5th - we also enjoy average of 3.55" of rain per month - which keeps the grass green and the lakes and reservoirs full.

Lastly - a good, honest answer about snow…. Now some years, we get nothing. 2 times in the last 30 yrs I’ve been here, we’ve gotten 12” - but the average honest answer is: we get 2”-3”, 2-3 times per year and its gone in 2-3 days.
