I live in Ohio, and just about six months ago there was a sheriff from the southern part of our state, which is QUITE rural and quite beautiful, who was one of the sheriffs who went to Washington for an annual meeting they have with certain leaders (it's worth mentioning that he said Biden, for the fourth straight year, refused to meet with them but among others, Christopher Wray did) and he was being interviewed on a podcast. He was on the Glenn Beck show and what he had to say was nothing shy of chilling. He said the average American would be stunned and terrified if they had ANY idea of how many illegals and groups of sleeper cells are in RURAL Ohio now. Rural, and way off the beaten path. As in the sticks. He said he even tells his citizens to arm themselves even on their own rural property. This was done purposely to our country.

@dyates6380....Done intentionally. And just whom do people believe has heaped this abuse on Americans' heads? Whilst they gnaw on a nothing burger, 2025 which Trump doesn't endorse, they ought be concerned with 2030. Schwabs' plan calls for 90% population decrease, & now we see how they plan to execute it. It's President Trump or we're done.

I am a medical contract worker who travels all over the country and it is always rural areas. Everywhere I have traveled, we now have transnational violent gangs out in the rural areas, not just the cities. Even the Indian Reservations have been infiltrated by these gangs, violent drug gangs.

I live in the middle of a national wildlife refuge …. Nearest neighbor is about 1.5 miles down the road. I’m in about 4 miles on a dirt road. I’m insulated and prepared but not invincible ….. no one is.
I do have a very large home I live in alone with my five German Shepherds. The few neighbors I have I wouldn’t trust. I do however have friends who are gun enthusiasts/hunters. SHTF the plan is for them to come here. My US Marine son will also be here if he can.
But God has always taken care of me and kept me safe ….. HE is the one I ultimately rely on. If someone kills me in order to take what I have ….. so be it. I’ll be in glory and it won’t matter.
But until that day arrives I’ll do what I can and prepare.

I live in the country and have known this for many years. I really don't care anymore. Kids are gone, wife left and Im just retired. I am prepared better than most but Im also prepared to go home to meet my maker and live with Jesus for eternity. This world has grown too dark and evil to even be remotely desirable to want to survive and stay here.

One good example is what my dad told me before my first long road trip. If I break down at night on a desolate road, go hide in the trees. That way if people stop, I can watch and see if they are looking to help, or if they start breaking into my car. So I'll know whether to stay hidden or not, as a lone 20 yr old female on the road.

I live in a Chicago suburb. I trust no one that lives around me. No one knows what I have. The only person who does is 1 family member who works in Chicago, but lives in Indiana. I'm basically on my own. The rest of my family have cut me off. And it was Jesus that came between us. So utterly sad, but they are prayed for every day. 9 grandbabies that have to live in this wicked world without their grandma. I'm the only one who has shared Jesus with all of them. I'm sure there are others who subscribe to this channel that are experiencing this very thing. Trust the Lord. He is our only hope.

The poor people who lived in the Appalachians didn't even know there was a depression. They had no money and very little else, so they didn't even notice. God blesses the poor with faith, love, knowledge, and skills. The kind of people he knows to be worthy of his Kingdom.

I HAVE thought about it---but feel trapped. I'm married to a lovely man who is a complete ostrich. Pretending everything is "just fine". I stay prayed up and I am a strongly spiritual person. I have prepped in ways I can and as you've mentioned with the food, water, other supplies. I even got a handgun (and ammo) and took the conceal carry course for my State---but the reality is, I am no markswoman. I am concerned for my adult kids, and of course, our one little grandson. I've had a good life, but my concerns are for the future of this Nation and the younger folks.

I live in a remote area. I understand your thoughts, but having dogs, solar exterior cameras, solar PIR motion detectors, solar motion activated lights, night vision and thermal scopes, gives me a great advantage over any infiltrator. I have the advantage of being a trained and experienced combat vet, like each of my three 'neighbor's ' within three miles radius. We all have to live somewhere, I say the more the remote the better. In town, they can hide behind your garbage can. My wife and I chose to live remote for this reason. In town or even in tbe suburbs, you are on the front lines.
However, you are right. It is our Savior Jesus that we rely on, not our preps! Thank you!!

Really? Where in the New Testament did Jesus say that?
Jesus is an example of how to live. He said that we are the same as him. That we are also sons of god, that we can do the same miracles that he did. And if you think that he's coming back, that's delusional.
He was telling us that we are eternal.
So many of his parables are misunderstood.

In 1992 Maurice Strong gave a speech at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. He was later interviewed and one of the questions asked was regarding the part of his speech in which Strong said one of the stated goals of Agenda 21 was to move people out of rural areas and into cities. Interviewer: " What if people don't want to move out of the countryside" Strong: "Then we'll just burn the damn forest down"
We are not just up against desperate people who are left to their own wits and devices and just fighting to survive. There will be many who will be well equipped and funded to terrorize rural areas ... much like the 'summer of love' in 2020. People bussed in and supplied housing and food trucks( and piles of bricks), etc. This is an old and well documented goal of the Establishment.

The good people will come together eventually you have to remember the people that have been preparing are mainly the good ones the good ones that are trying to protect their family. It's not going to take a whole lot of raiding communities for people to band together and protect what's theirs. My only concern is people should be more prepared with self-defense tools and ammunition. This is one of my biggest concerns when it comes to s. t. h .f situations and being so close to the city is not a good thing.

I am focusing on my relationship with God. Look at Great Britain. It's already starting here. They will come for us...unless Trump wins and he's true to his word. I'm about 15% on that happening. Here in mn we have red flag laws. They will come for us at some point. It's ok. They can't take my soul. Try to bring others to Jesus. Fight while you can but in Faith.

I occasionally get the bug for a new puppy. Every year or so I check CL, local ads etc. For the large size dogs, it's mostly been labs, hunting dogs, mixes etc. But for the last two years, it suddenly was teeming in German Shepherds, everywhere I looked. I would love to have one but couldn't afford the price. But I found a GS and Rottie mix with a bit more of another breed. I'm not encouraging inner breeding but, the pups were there and I got one. Tucker was adopted at 8 weeks old in 2022 and is a spoiled, loyal dog. I feel safer and he's happy as a lark playing with my smaller dogs on my 8 acres. Anyone and everyone should have a dog, as long as they wan it, love it, have a proper place for it and can and WILL/DO take care of it.
And for the record, overall, rural living is safer. But evil does what evil does and we can't hide under a rock. Have faith and live a life of freedom. Use your common sense, pay attention and pray thankfully and humbly.

A huge thank you for being the one who finally speaks the truth. I have been saying this for years. I spent almost thirty years in the mountains of north carolina prepping my heart out. But then because of some tragedies that occurred i had to leave. However I soon realized that I would never have made it in those mountains with what's getting ready to happen. Like you said it only takes one. I'm now in a small city in FL, and staying very close to the Father and his Son and I feel safer here than I did with all the stuff that I collected for thirty years on a prepper farm. Thank you again. Ppl must repent and obey. There is only one way.

What good is it to live in a rural community if your neighbor is an evil Karen who hates the sight of you for no good reason other than she is possessed by hate. Planning for these end times is almost impossible because we are dealing with an unknown...keeping Jesus in our hearts is the only way we can survive,

Based on my recent ( 4 years) experience, you are absolutely right. Moreover, I wish to changed New York city life to my rural location because I start hating people. Nothing specific or personal, just the amount of them surrounding me. Permanent traffic, permanent car theft and inside vehicle rubbery , NYPD does not come even if you call 911 telling your car was burglarized. While settling on my new 67 acres I decided to go around and introduce myself to all surrounding neighbors : I met no one smiling face. One guy met me with a rifle in hands, unleashed black dog a Sheppard size and hand coughs on a belt. I just knocked down to the door wishing to tell they have a new neighbor - me. Indeed, it was my illusion that all Americans are friendly people and specifically those residing in rural areas , where the help is carrying an extra value. My fault, I was delusional. People's first response is - you are an enemy, not a friend. Their attitude really shocked me and ignited to recall of what Schreck said in a cartoon, " My swamp, me, nobody else". I'm almost 60 y.o. Ukrainian origin living in the USA for 26 years. I don't know if my face seems so spooky or my behavior to say "Hello" considered as a rudeness. I know , not all people in my area are like that, but my neighbors are tough, not friendly, and probably no one is gonna come to help me if something happened.

A couple of years ago I moved from the big city to a very small (pop. 2000) town in NW TN, and I'm certain that I'm more safe here from SHTF. Certainly there are places of concealment where a sniper might "take me out" without warning, however the reality is that people in this very Christian area are, in general, not inclined to do such things. And, for those outsiders who may be so inclined, they are likely to be meet resistance getting into town.
So many preppers are looking for perfect solutions, and they will not find that in this world. However, a person can sleep much better at night knowing that they are protected by multiple layers of imperfect solutions.
Finally, I'll add that the great blessing of living in a rural area or very small town is not safety during SHTF, but rather it's the wonderful, tranquil quality of life that can be had on a daily basis.

I would call the Mike scenario devastatingly rural. It isn't just the sniper, it is the toothache, the hard pregnancy, the injury while working.
The urban areas have all the supplies, hospitals, but the population will quickly exhaust the supplies and the predators are thicker.
The suburbs are too close to the cities.
It is the exurbs the small rural towns that have four roads in and out, give you the best bet of survival.
Why the small towns? Land for food, a water supply, people with skills, a sense of community.
Amen to pray to the God that created you, and forgave you. Be charitable, humble, merciful and just.

You're so right in all the points you just made. I've always said, "If you live in an area surrounded by forest or even surrounded by most rural landscapes, you have no idea who might be hidden out there watching you". And if anyone is especially out there hungry and going without food our perceived standards of morality become severely challenged. Then you can only guess who it is that's willing to extremely suffer in order to be a good neighbor. But you are especially right that our primary concern should be the saving of our souls and not the saving of our physical existence.

Yes Harris county is full of crime thanks Hidalgo. I took went looking for land thinking country is safer then suburbs. Not true. When you get in your 60s 70s. You will not make it in country living. If you fall. Break a leg or an arm. You will suffer. You have no ambulance service. Here I live by the best hospitals. Best health care. I'm stocked for 5 years him on a little 1\4. Piece of land. I can see people coming in I know my neighbors. I see everything. We used to think like all you other people. I love your videos. And what you say is true. Be careful. Safety in numbers. I'm glad I never purchased any land. I'm fine right here.

If need be, I honestly believe God can make you invisible to an enemy and keep you safe from harm to get you thru some very hard times coming... God speed friend and keep the faith.

I can vouch for your opening statement. I own 80 acres of timbered land in rural Washington State. Recently people from the city bought property adjacent to my place. I've owned my place for over 20 years. As soon as they bought their property, they put up NO TRESPASSING signs all along the fence line pointed towards my place. Why!? I don't have any interest in their property. They are constantly shooting rifles there, in who knows what direction. What's even worse, they are Democrats.

"By eleven o’clock the next day we were well upon our way to the old English capital. Holmes had been buried in the morning papers all the way down, but after we had passed the Hampshire border he threw them down and began to admire the scenery. It was an ideal spring day, a light blue sky, flecked with little fleecy white clouds drifting across from west to east. The sun was shining very brightly, and yet there was an exhilarating nip in the air, which set an edge to a man’s energy. All over the countryside, away to the rolling hills around Aldershot, the little red and grey roofs of the farm-steadings peeped out from amid the light green of the new foliage.
“Are they not fresh and beautiful?” I cried with all the enthusiasm of a man fresh from the fogs of Baker Street.
But Holmes shook his head gravely.
“Do you know, Watson,” said he, “that it is one of the curses of a mind with a turn like mine that I must look at everything with reference to my own special subject. You look at these scattered houses, and you are impressed by their beauty. I look at them, and the only thought which comes to me is a feeling of their isolation and of the impunity with which crime may be committed there.”
“Good heavens!” I cried. “Who would associate crime with these dear old homesteads?”
“They always fill me with a certain horror. It is my belief, Watson, founded upon my experience, that the lowest and vilest alleys in London do not present a more dreadful record of sin than does the smiling and beautiful countryside.”
    “You horrify me!”
“But the reason is very obvious. The pressure of public opinion can do in the town what the law cannot accomplish. There is no lane so vile that the scream of a tortured child, or the thud of a drunkard’s blow, does not beget sympathy and indignation among the neighbours, and then the whole machinery of justice is ever so close that a word of complaint can set it going, and there is but a step between the crime and the dock. But look at these lonely houses, each in its own fields, filled for the most part with poor ignorant folk who know little of the law. Think of the deeds of hellish cruelty, the hidden wickedness which may go on, year in, year out, in such places, and none the wiser." ---Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, from "The Adventure of the Copper Beeches"

I’ve read every kind of post apocalyptic book. From plagues to nuclear war. Yeah it was all fiction, but the one thing I noticed in all of them was the protagonist in the story was always traveling and always came across a prepper house where the people were gone or dead and they ended up prepping for others in the end. Just saying.

Amen. God Bless you Kevin. We are praying for the USA, I hope things do not get worse, but it is written in the bible the things that will come to earth. I started little by little to buy can foods etc... we live in Los Angeles, and it got very dangerous here, just on Saturday there was a shooting one street down to our place, and we do not live in a bad neighborhood. I told my family we might have to leave for my country and get a property in the countryside. In the meantime, I will continue praying for all, I will not stop praying. GOD IS GOOD.

Our colonist ancestors depended on each other for cooperation in defense, working fields, building.....They were not amoral to the level of our society, and they weren't being overrun by tens of millions of invaders. Many of us don't have the slightest chance on our own, but could be helpful in a group. Everything you're saying has been obvious to me for many years. It is sad that more can't come together in the spirit of the beginning phrase of the 2nd item in the Bill of Rights. Great advice about manual items. Just living in the country has inherent dangers above and beyond just people that city life doesn't.
That being said, if your reason for moving "off grid" into the country is to avoid people and their dangers. Then you must take a wholistic approach. Meaning a militaristic approach. Security, security, security....You can get dogs, you can not disturb the wildlife so it becomes your alarms...red squirrels for example. Set up trail cams, do patrols etc.
If your sole purpose of "off grid" living is to protect yourself from people. Then you have to focus on that and make it your priority.
It's all about prioritizing, and understanding why you're doing what you're doing.
Living a militaristic lifestyle is not a comfortable life. We're not there yet, and may never get there. If we do, you will have to adapt to the changing environment.
I've been to war. It wasn't like training. War is full time. It wears on you. Things to consider.
