I love how in the animated one, when they focus more in Superman's eyes, we still see glimpses of his beard still unshaved, we see the laser eyes never go through them and when they zoom out, he's instantly shaved
Imagine Clark needs to stay disguised for a long time in the woods and people are like, "Why aren't you shaving?" "I can't shave without a mirror" "Wow, you're weak"

Writers: "The audience for this show is incredibly stupid so we HAVE to have the shaving machine noise otherwise they'll have utterly no idea what's happening."
I like how everyone’s ignoring the fact the mirrors withstood his heat vision Edit: thanks for all the likes 1. If he’s using low power how does he manage to shave his own hair he’d have to be using high power to shave his hair 2. Mirrors don’t reflect heat
@@incognito-p9c in that case in order to shave his nearly indestructible facial hair the laser would have to be extremely high powered releasing large amounts of heat which would just burn the mirror so that answer doesn’t work “kid” Edit: considering 3 months later I still get comments let me clarify some things Superman’s heat vision is calculated up to 6000 kelvin in terms of heat and strong enough to cut the fabric of the universe as seen in a few comics our sun averages 6000 kelvin and Superman flies in and out of it on numerous occasions with the exact same hairstyle meaning that the strength of his laser would have to be at the maximum known heat or greatly passed it to cut his hair. Another thing to mention is darkside is the closest known character with heat vision as strong as Superman’s in most continuity and there have been dozens of times that darkside has blasted Superman in the face at full power and his eyebrows stay intact. Now that you have that explanation please tell me what hotel mirror you’ve seen that is stronger than the sun mirrors don’t absorb heat past a certain point and the initial contact with the mirror at that level of heat in a logical base would melt not only the mirror but 86 the entire building
His hair is hair he just prefers to shave with his laser eyes because he can control the temperature of the laser and it's just much faster too Edit: When he was younger his powers weren't fully awaked he was pretty human when a child until he got super puberty that's why they could give him a hair cut
Why doesn’t Batman ever trip over his cape or get it caught on one of Gotham City’s building edges or gargoyles when he’s swinging over the rooftops of Gotham?🤗
Jody Boles True but the intensity of heat in a laser can affect the glass/mirror too. Though one could argue it's Kryptonian technology that's durable. Oops I got a laser cut ✅
So his skin is completely laser resistant, but his hair is not
Then also it must be scissor resistant, but his hair is cut 🤷🏽♀️
Kinda like laser in real life used by doctors.
Those aren't actually lasers though. His heat vision may have different properties from lasers.
Technically the hair you see is already dead
Don’t think about it too hard
*looks himself in the eye*

I know this man, he was my neighbor. He was my friend in elementary school and he is a very talented man. We live together in harmony. Question, so was superman's hair just really long until he found out he had powers or can his hair be cut normally but he just does it this way??
@@crownedking_cj8890 yes actually. He shaves and cuts his own hair this way. You can see he has longer hair in MoS
So any villain can deflect Superman's heat rays with a mirror ...
Yes
Imagine Clark needs to stay disguised for a long time in the woods and people are like,
"Why aren't you shaving?"
"I can't shave without a mirror"

I love how the live-action actually shows his beard being shaved, but the cartoon decided to cut to before and after, even tho it seems like the cartoon version would be easier to animate.
It's probably more subtle if you cut in animation rather than live action
that's exactly what i thought
Hollywood budget
He’s just that fast
Yeah
Oh my!Why am I getting recommended this after so many years?
Batman just scared his beard away
haha
Green Lantern shaves with a buzzsaw created from his ring.
lol
The Flash just smacks himself in the face at light speed and vibrates the hair off his skin...
...it doesn't really work
Batman's beard only grows when he stops being batman and by that he kills people and stuff.

Everyone talking about superman shaving but no one realized the mirror glass is superman’s true counter, not kryptonite.
Either that or he's able to control the temperature of the laser.
So you deflected his beams; congrats, now you only have a super-strong, super-tough flying man to deal with.
@@rnaD86 eyy! At least I don’t have to find Kryptonite wherever that in in lore. We have mirrors everywhere. That’s HUGE for a normal human.
I'm pretty sure his hair isn't as strong as he is buddy.

OOOOOOOHHHHH
What if someone made clothes with superman's hair?
It would be extremely good as armor
I like how everyone’s ignoring the fact the mirrors withstood his heat vision
Edit: thanks for all the likes
1. If he’s using low power how does he manage to shave his own hair he’d have to be using high power to shave his hair
2. Mirrors don’t reflect heat
If it's like a visible light based laser, then a mirror could reflect the rays.
@@sebfox2194 I’m surprised more villains who fought Superman didn’t have a giant mirror as part of their arsenal.
Superman can control the strength of his eye laser kid.
@@incognito-p9c lol next you're going to tell me he can fly...
@@incognito-p9c in that case in order to shave his nearly indestructible facial hair the laser would have to be extremely high powered releasing large amounts of heat which would just burn the mirror so that answer doesn’t work “kid”
Edit: considering 3 months later I still get comments let me clarify some things Superman’s heat vision is calculated up to 6000 kelvin in terms of heat and strong enough to cut the fabric of the universe as seen in a few comics our sun averages 6000 kelvin and Superman flies in and out of it on numerous occasions with the exact same hairstyle meaning that the strength of his laser would have to be at the maximum known heat or greatly passed it to cut his hair. Another thing to mention is darkside is the closest known character with heat vision as strong as Superman’s in most continuity and there have been dozens of times that darkside has blasted Superman in the face at full power and his eyebrows stay intact. Now that you have that explanation please tell me what hotel mirror you’ve seen that is stronger than the sun mirrors don’t absorb heat past a certain point and the initial contact with the mirror at that level of heat in a logical base would melt not only the mirror but 86 the entire building
so if his own laser beams is the only thing that can cut his hair, how did they give him haircuts as a child before they knew he had powers????
His hair is hair he just prefers to shave with his laser eyes because he can control the temperature of the laser and it's just much faster too
Edit: When he was younger his powers weren't fully awaked he was pretty human when a child until he got super puberty that's why they could give him a hair cut
@@just.him.cherif how's he not hairless every time he comes out of an explosion then
@@zachruuu8470 why do you try to understand or find a logical fact about something fictional 🤔
What? They found him in an alien spaceship my dude
Why doesn’t Batman ever trip over his cape or get it caught on one of Gotham City’s building edges or gargoyles when he’s swinging over the rooftops of Gotham?🤗
That oughta be a strong-ass mirror.
doesnt have to be strong cause a lazer that can just burn hair can easily bounce off mirrors or anything that can reflect.
Jody Boles True but the intensity of heat in a laser can affect the glass/mirror too. Though one could argue it's Kryptonian technology that's durable. Similar to how his glasses has Kryptonian glass changing eye color, eyebrow arc, and bridge of the nose when he puts them on (revealed in silver age, 80s, and in New 52 comics)
Jorge G. Figueroa
That's clearly a diamond mirror. 😂
But superman has control over the intensity of his heat vision.
then it will not be strong enough to burn his hair
Why am I getting this 11 years later?
