Thanks for the kind words, Bonedaddy! I’m glad you enjoyed the vlog. You and Tammy should come up sometime and I’ll show you guys a lot of cool locations.
Still haven’t made it there. The tea pots are really interesting ! a lot of cool vendors too! That little owl must like you, he kept winking at you🦉😉, lol.Looked like a gorgeous day for a festival. Thanks for another great vlog!👍🏻👍🏻
It's that time of year! I have never been to a Renaissance faire I'll have to check it out in our area next year, I'm told we have some good ones. This one was really wonderful,well done. I'm sure those nights have to sign a waiver or 300😂 Glad it wasn't a serious injury. I thoroughly enjoyed this vlog thank you Cashew. 🌞Johnson's Wood of the Morning 😄
Very cool, we missed not going this year, just not enough days in the year. I'm glad they seem to be expanding it and adding new things, it's always a great place to visit.
I will be working here this season! If anyone’s coming back, feel free to drop by the queen’s court!😊 Edit: Also, I’ve met the guy on the horse at 4:24. He’s so nice! Helped me with my costume.
You did a wonderful job on this video Cashew but then again you always do. I’ve been to two Renaissance Festivals in two different states and they are so much fun to experience. Do you ever dress up in period clothes when you go? I do not but it’s fun to watch those that do. Thank you for the fun 👍🏼🤗
Hey Cashew, I would think the English Knights would get confused riding their horses on the right instead of riding on the left as they do everything else like driving cars. No wonder the poor guy got hurt ;>}
I miss the Renaissance Festival every year😥 My favorite snack was always the fried pickles & a 🍺, and I ALWAYS had to get a new crystal for the house. Poor little Hok'ee would be a snack for the Birds of Prey🍗 Sorry the jouster was hurt, but at least it was not the 🐎 Thank you for bringing back such memories🐾🦊🐺 (🤗 from Hok'ee)
I'm from Kentucky, and our Renaissance Fair takes place in Eminence. I've gone to two Renaissance Fairs in my life so far, once in 2008/2009, when my little brother and I were knighted by King Robert the Bruce, and last year when my brother brought a friend dressed like Kirito from Sword Art Online. This Saturday will be my third Ren Fair, and we would've had costumes, but unfortunately, my mom's been working weeks, so she hasn't had any time to make any. The bright side to the whole costume situation is that many people who go to the Ren Fair don't have costumes anyway, so we'll be fine.
Just now coming across this video. This was shot on a Sunday, because I'm in my Sunday garb. Sir James took a lance to the throat that day. He finished the day and recovered just fine. Come see us again!
Were the Cincinatti Barbarians not there that day? If they were, how did you miss them? You were right next to the list. My son and his team kit up in full armor and beat the hell out of each other with live weapons every day for you guys and get no love! Makes me sad. Their fights are real, unlike the choreographed jousting.
I so want to attend a big one like this. You captured my kind of fun wonderfully.
