Claas Dominator 86 Perkins Engine First Start

First start of a Perkins engine following a complete rebuild.

Lovely sounding engine. They seem to sound louder when harvesting.is this because of all the belts and stuff going round making the noise?

What made Claas put the motor between the cab and the bin I wonder

Claas has done this because it is the shortest way to transmit power to the threshing drum from the motor

@@BauerHopema Deere WFE and MF did that with their combines too except they put the motors beside the cabs instead of between them and the tank. Makes for easier servicing
