  • My friend ‪@WeltenbauerClub‬ issued a fun challenge - Sci-fi vs. Fantasy, Rust vs. Overgrowth. Benchwork on my new layout is progressing well, but I wanted to do some modelling, so I decided to join the fun and use a Gundam kit I have had for a while.
    This diorama was built using leftover walls from so Outland Models kits, and some bits and pieces I had leftover from other projects.
    It was a fun diorama to build - thanks, ‪@WeltenbauerClub‬!

    Beautiful job! I've been planning a diorama with similar buildings but I haven't been able to decide on how to build them. These kit walls came out fantastic with all of your techniques!

    • @NScaleDystopia
      @NScaleDystopia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you very much! The only challenge with these kits is that each building doesn't use a standard height for 'stories/floors,' so it can be challenging to mix and match between structures.

    Wonderful. The rust coat is so crisp and the overgrowth looks fantastic. Only thing that's missing are some birds building their nest somewhere. But not in that scale. Great work.

    Will you ever do anything with Far Eastern Buildings of an older/more traditional design? They somehow either survived the Apocalypse and/or people went back to older construction techniques due to the massive loss of modern technology? Maybe the same with some Native American structures too? Or even someone trying to build an old style medieval
    castle out of the rubble and building remains?

    Not sure I would include this one in my list of most liked, but nonetheless, once more your skill and creativity impresses. And as soon as you started cutting into that Gundam mech, I was like "I *knew* he wasn't going to leave that alone!" Lol.

    • @NScaleDystopia

      Thanks! The Gundam was as flexible as a Ken doll... It needed some help. As for The project, I typically would not have done something like this, but I had the parts and I needed a break from building the bigger layout.
