From one Chris to another, this is an incredible first video and I can't wait for more. It'd also be great to get some commentary during the video to explain your decision making. You seem to have a few techniques that differ from how the big craft channels do things. They clearly work for you and look amazing, so it'd be awesome to get your reasoning etc 🙂
I just saw a three minute sped up super-cut of this video on Facebook yesterday. Not sure if it was your upload or not, but it impressed me then and even more so now.
That's a beautiful small scale diorama Chris, the LED effects really do take it to another level, thank you so much for sharing the build with us, really looking forward to your next video.
Awesome work! I would love a list of the flocking material and plants you used. Perhaps putting the names of what you use as text over the video clips would be a good idea. If nothing else, maybe just in the description. Keep it up!
Beautiful work…Not sure I’d have your patience or skill to make one, but I’d love to have something similar in a display cabinet. Look forward to seeing more of your excellent work 😀
Looks great! Covered all of your beautifully painted riverbed with the super pigmented resin. With similar scales like that, I usually don't add any coloring at all. Great work, though!!!! Subbed
Thats really good! I do have lots of ideas for videos like darth vader vs luke on bespin or the death star from a new hope the possiblitys are endless! Keep up the great work 😊
WOW! The level of detail is amazing. Your craftsmanship and skill are top quality and a pleasure to watch. Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the video, great music, not a lot of talking - can’t wait to see more!
Hi, just stumbled across your channel as I'm looking to get into Diorama's. WOW what detail and amazing scene you have made, so glad I found your channel. Thanks for sharing
A great build and a well-shot, well-edited video. I'm looking forward to many more. All the Star Wars dioramas I've seen have been set in rocky wastelands or lush forests/jungles. It's great to see something new. And using fiber optics in the explosion is brilliant (in the British sense) and clever (in the American sense). As others have said, some sort of narration would be nice, maybe recorded after the final edit was done. Here are some questions I have about this build - I don't expect you to answer them, but they might give you an idea of the kinds of these you might want to tell us in the next video. What is the glop you used to form the surface of the rocks? What is the glop you used to cover the flat ground? Why two different glops? Why did you wash-dry brush-wash-dry brush-wash-dry brush the rocks? Wouldn't it have been easier to do several washes and then dry brush with several different colors? What was the dark brown texture you spread on the sides of the river at the beginning? It looked like dried kitchen herbs, or maybe ground coffee. What was the light brown stuff you sprinkled on the sides of the river along with the green flocking? It looked like crushed-up dried leaves. How did you manage to make the dams for the resin pour with just masking tape when everyone else on TH-cam needs thick sheets of acrylic and hot glue? You added a drop of blue and a drop of brown to the resin, which made it look brown. But when you poured it, it looked quite blue. Did you add more blue dye off-camera? Again, no need to answer here. You can cover it all in future videos, which I'll definitely be watching. Best of luck!
I love your sense for detail, such a great build. Is there a specific reason as to why you cut the tape that was holding the resin? Or is it just to keep things clean?
Nice video! I forgot where I saw it but advice from a youtuber I saw - when you start a new channel have a few videos there already, that way if people like the first video they watch they can go through and binge your others and the youtube algorithm will get your videos to more people
Thanks so much! I don't know of a particular starter kit exactly, but a lot of the essential materials are pretty inexpensive and will last you for a few projects.
i thought he got the laser colours wrong because i would have sworn the tie fighters were red. so I went and looked. he's right. I always thought the good guys were green and bad guys red. hm

Unless the TIE is hit by a sudden wind and clips a tree, that Y-WING pilot is in for a very bad day.
This is a very cool display piece.
Superbe magnifique, je viens de découvrir
Great Diarama... but scale wise... I believe the Y wing is a little bigger than the scale here... still excellent
WOW boy so good... Nice Diorama, Nice chill Beats, Star Wars 😍
amazing jungle
Brilliant work mate!
I would happily accept 10% of this skill. Beautiful work
Wow! A work of art. My only suggestion is knowing a little more about the materials you work with.
Very impressive work, love the damage effect on the y wing
That is really good mate. I wish i had your patience.
Ottimo lavoro, complimenti!!!

Que perfeição!!! Ficou mesmo realista!! ❤❤❤ Parabéns
Amazing work 👏🏻
I love your sense for detail, such a great build. Is there a specific reason as to why you cut the tape that was holding the resin? Or is it just to keep things clean?
Thank you! Basically the less tape there is the less glue I need to use to seal it. Less clean up when the tape it removed :)
@@CTDioramas Oh I get it. Thought maybe it would somehow helped with leakage prevention. But yeah, makes totally sense :)
Beautiful! If thats your first video, I’m looking forward to your next, subscribed!

Wow that’s amazing work I can’t wait for your next video!! One question how do you wire can you give a tutorial on how to wire the led light?
Thank you! I've left a link in the description to a video from @boyliehobbytime. It's a great video on how to use these led filaments:)
Thank you !
@@CTDioramas what type of cooper wire are you using sorry for the annoying questions
@@what1734................ no problem! I've used a 34 gauge enamelled copper wire. Hope this helps :)
Dude loving your stuff
Thanks! Likewise 😁 loved your ramblers reach dio!
Looks great my guy! you might become my favourite mini's youtuber if you keep this up :D
Keep it up I really enjoyed it ;)
Thank you buddy! 😊
Brilliant 👏 what do you do with your dioramas once completed? Sell, display?
Thanks so much! I keep my favourites 😁

Damn that was really good!!!...planet Endor!!!..AWSOME WORK
Awesome work mate, earned my sub.
Thank you! Appreciate it 😁
can i ask what material you using at 6:23 that liquid type first one is clear and the next one is white something, thankyou for answering
This is amazing, can you point me in any direction for starting off from nothing? Is a starter kit available etc?
Thanks so much! I don't know of a particular starter kit exactly, but a lot of the essential materials are pretty inexpensive and will last you for a few projects.
Is there a way to dim the filaments? Master build btw.
I think you could use some resistors to lower the voltage....this would make them a little dimmer 👍
Do you have a list of the materials used?
i thought he got the laser colours wrong because i would have sworn the tie fighters were red. so I went and looked. he's right. I always thought the good guys were green and bad guys red. hm
They were the opposite in the clone wars the republic fighters have green and the CIS had red
It’s mixed up. Colors represent the type of laser like HE AP or others. They don’t decide your faction. They do In lightsabers though
Asombroso
how did you make the buff titanium at 8:55/9:01 silver looking?
Can I ask, why the gesso on the top layer of water effect?
It was to try and represent some white water. I didn't have any other white paint at the time, so the gesso was the next best thing.
@@CTDioramas thanks
Great model but, for me, it would have been nice if you had described how you made all this.
This was my first video. I didn't think people were ready to hear my droney voice just yet 😅
Then that is a shame.@@CTDioramas
Hello what is the name of the SMD/LED you use in the diorama? I don't know what to look for. can you please help me to find them. thank you Frank
Hi Frank! These are LED COB filaments. I picked them up on eBay for a few pounds. Hope this helps 👍
@@CTDioramas thank you very much. I'll take a look right away. I find it really well staged with the light
❗️
What is the mixture you used to cover foam?
Just a thicker mix of casting plaster :-)
@@CTDioramas ok thank you
do you ever sell your pieces? They are awesome!
Thank you! Yes, I do occasionally sell them.
Nice Job! Subscribing.
Much appreciated!
Where did you get the leds?
I picked them up on ebay.
Which planet is this set on?
Jesus christ! Let him cook!!
Great job, music is jarring, VO would be better.
Great Diorama, great work, but...ab-so-lut-ly horrible music 🙉Better change this for the next time.
