That is an excellent grill, probably the best I’ve seen. I looked at the website and it appears to be only 20lbs. That is fantastic. I have a blackstone 2 burner griddle. I don’t carry it any longer because of the weight. I instead use an electric griddle. Lighter and better control of the heat. I switched to a wood pellet grill. Maybe some manufacturer will let you try one of these. I’d really like your opinion and comparison between a pellet and gas grill. The one big dislike of the pellet grill is the weight. Otherwise, It gets to temperature very quickly and offers smoke or grill functions with complete control of the temperature. It is electric but uses very little energy (400 watts if I remember correctly). Thanks for another quality product and great review.
@@iLoveRVlife you can BBQ on a smoker just like you do with a gas BBQ grill. Just set the temperature to 400 or as desired. A pellet smoker is very versatile; a smoker and a BBQ grill.
Hi Monument Grills. What a delightful, generous gift thru “Off the Hill with Tina and Rob!” I would love to have any grill (what my son used to called girls- grills). I live in a condo so they say it has to be propane powered one. I am a “carnivore” at 75 y/o that is kinda scary, I sound like a T-Rex 🦖. Well thank you for your kindnesses to all!
Thanks, this looks very interesting. I have been looking at the Weber travel grill but will take a good look at this one from MonumentGrills. Grilling season is coming up soon! Take care and safe travels. Dave.
Rusty, it came with a hose and regulator for a 20lb tank. I removed and used a 1/4 tip and quick connect hose to my 5th wheel propane auxiliary port. Works great.
@@iLoveRVlife Would elaborate on this a little. Maybe a link to the hose you used? Thank you. I enjoy your content and find it helpful as we are just starting out on our RV adventure! Edit, I found my answer in your reply to another query.
It can. I had it connected to ours in the video. It came with a 40” hose to connect to a propane tank. I removed and added a 1/4” quick connect fitting. I had the hose.
@@iLoveRVlife but from what i have seen earlier on your channel is a special adapter before your regulator. Therefore it is a high pressure grill not a low pressure unit. Correct?
Love it. Easy cleanup. All stainless. Usually 5 minute wipe out with a few paper towels. Light brush, a little Dawn, and water hose if it needs a deep clean.
If you have a quick connection of your RV, you can convert. Remove the host connected the the grill. Screw on this connector amzn.to/3L4RwFx. Used a little Teflon tape to make a good seal. This hose can be used to connect the grill to the RV amzn.to/3L3Nhdj This is what I used on my grill.
I ordered a hose to use with our 5th wheel quick connect port and a quick connect fitting for the grill. These are for 1/4 inch connections. The grill comes with a hose connected to a regulator to be used with a 20lb propane tank. Easy to remove and replace with the quick connect fitting then connect grill to port with hose. This is what I used: amzn.to/3H6zC3A amzn.to/3B6q6dd
It comes with a hose and regulator for a 20lb tank. If your quick connect is 1/4 inch, you can use the links shared for the hose and quick connect fitting to work with the camper.
No issue with rodents or insects. We run a couple minutes after cooking to burn any residual off the grates. Then a little wipe of any excess from the tray before storage. About once a year, we’ll use some Dawn and hose off insides. Never had an issue since we started our travels in 2014.
Beg to differ. With giddiness aside. This is a good quality grill with the features one would find with larger home models. Great controls, even heat, stainless steel construction, only 20lbs, fits in the storage bay, easy to clean, 15,000 burners, and more. This is our 6th portable grill in 9 years. This one is built to last.

It’s a good grill. I’ve been looking at pellets for a while. Wish I had time to run a smoker.

Jerry, you omitted one important point…what time is dinner? Nice grill
Opps! Missed it. It was some kinda yummy. Thanks
Thanks, Jerry! This review is very timely, as we're ready to get a grill!
Glad we could help. This is a good unit and should last a while.
We've been using a Giantex gas grill since May 2020, it's very similar and makes great steaks!
👍
Thanks for the review. Check out the Olympian 5500 all stainless grill. Similar in every respect.
Thanks
We've been happy with our Giantex which we've had for about three years. Very similar.

The addition of GrillGrates make it a rather decent small grill.
Flare up wasn’t a problem. We use a grilling plan for fish and seafood when needed.
Nice job.
Thanks

Thanks. We’ve been through several. This is a small package, but cooks like the big porch grills.
Wow!! Thanks for this great review!
Great grill too!
Awesome review! Thank you!!
Thanks for watching Nola.
awesome little grill!
It’s a jewel.
Nice
Thanks
I like that little grill.
It’s really nice. Big grill features in a portable format.
Does this grill connect Directly to your propane gas connection on your rv? Or do you have to delete a pressure regulator on the grill?
Rusty, it came with a hose and regulator for a 20lb tank. I removed and used a 1/4 tip and quick connect hose to my 5th wheel propane auxiliary port. Works great.

Thanks for watching. This is the hose and connector kit I used amzn.to/3XJipmk
So this does not hook up to a stock low pressure rv propane system?
Correct?
No it’s low pressure. The connection at the 5th wheel is past the regulator. It also comes with a hose that has a regulator at the tank side.
Hi Jerry, Do you still like it How is cleaning it?
Love it. Easy cleanup. All stainless. Usually 5 minute wipe out with a few paper towels. Light brush, a little Dawn, and water hose if it needs a deep clean.
@@iLoveRVlife Thank you, I'm going to give one a try. Have been using a Roadtrip forever. Do you have a compact table for it you like?
I have one of those 6 ft folding tables from Walmart. Does the trick, easy to store, and reasonable priced.
@@iLoveRVlife Thank you Jerry!
Jerry how do I hook up my rv gas to the momentum grill mine has a regulator on the end of the hose

Did you remove the whole hose on the grill or just the regulator
The entire hose.
How did you hook it up to your camper?

@@iLoveRVlife We have the quick connect with our RV also so when they send me the grill all I need is the hose or does the hose come with it?

You supposed to use aluminum foil so the grease doesn't cause fire and it keeps it clean.....
Thanks
Great grill ! Great steaks ! I see a new channel .... cooking with Jerry !
Interesting you mention cooking. Joan and I have been thinking about adding a cooking segment from time to time.

Jerry, I don't want to sanitize a grill every time I use it, but worry that it might attract rodents, what is your experience ?
No issue with rodents or insects. We run a couple minutes after cooking to burn any residual off the grates. Then a little wipe of any excess from the tray before storage. About once a year, we’ll use some Dawn and hose off insides. Never had an issue since we started our travels in 2014.
I think your giddiness is relative to what you paid for it. There really isn't anything exceptional about this grill.

Is the discount code ilovervlife or iloverflife? In the notes it is showing the later.
Hi Jerry. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It’s a typo and I’ve corrected. The code is “ilovervlife”.
