They do and they have done (with one young one calling out London Overground Stations with a Javelin fictional but that's what he is like :) ), but i recorded the video to have passing trains more than anything, although this isn't my railway and i only visit it every so often (but there are 3 other videos showing the railway though if you are interested by me and more if you look up the user "onemodelrail" (its his railway)

It doesn't have to be perfect! (it isn't my layout) I just recorded video of it ;), and as for the wires the layout is still being built, but it doesn't have to be 100% perfect if they only use it for fun though rather than completely prototypical!
The person who owns the layout's grandson used to have a thing for driving fast, although thanks :). In most cases, I'm not driving the trains as such just recording them.
You know this video is 12 years old right? The track as it says in the description is owned by someone else, the trains most aren't mine so i wouldn't know, my own trains I think Ebay, or Ehattons or in a shop it's been a long time since i bought either the 67 or the voyager in the video. Side note have a look at the description there is a link to the youtube channel of the person that runs the layout :)

Its not, the lights are buggered basically (they show as red going forward and white going backwards :) ) - Although I think they have been fixed since though.

noticed that the voyager unit the lights are on the wrong way ie when forward the tail lights are showing and at the back the headlights.
I've seen the Shanks 66 before. If you don't know the number, the unit is 66522

That is a good point, although it wasn't under my control at the time though.
OO Gauge with mostly OO Gauge trains and a selection of HO Scale trains (although the latter not shown)
And also, from what I've heard, shanks/freightliner has never hauled containers!

Even though the carriages are short, those Javelins looked real fast, even the white Olympic liveried one.
