I made these tonight and they baked beautifully and tasted great. I only had 20g cocoa in the cupboard but they were still really chocolatey and gooey. So quick and easy too. Thanks guys!
I tried this! I think I was a little impatient, but the liquidy non-cake part is DELICIOUS. My pre-cooked stage wasn't as soft so I had to add extra water. I reckon you could do this in a normal cupcake tray it would just be for less long. I used mugs x
I have a notation in my notes that might be useful for you. Sieve together 1 cup / 142 grams flour, 2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp baking soda to make your own Self-Raising flour. You can omit the baking soda provided your recipe does not include cocoa or an acid ingredient like buttermilk. If you are in the US, Self- Rising flour and Self- Raising flour are not the same!

Which raising agent can be used if one can not get hold of self raising flour?
Did you say that this was cooked for only 27 seconds?
It's very encouraging to hear about your trials and errors. Usually takes me several tries to get a new recipe right.
