Very cool, a Honda 50 was my second bike when growing up. I just bought a A 1984 Cub 70 at 70 years old. Yep the roller starter was Griff’s. One smart man!
Gary, you and Bob can do 70 miles on a 70 in our 70’s. Thanks for watching.
I learned how to ride on a Honda 50 S on gravel roads. It had a clutch with 3 speeds.
In the mid 1960's I was living large, relatively speaking.
Nice video
Many memories
Thanks
That’s awesome. I love these little motorcycles. Thanks for watching.
These are so cool. I just bought a 77 50cc Cub. It's so much fun.
They are so much fun. Something about riding a slow bike fast. Thanks for watching.
Love this stuff👌
Thanks. I do too!!! Wait till you see the next video on it. I looks so much better.
enjoyed my time with this
Thanks for watching.
Cool 🤙
Thanks for watching.
my leg was getting tired just watching u have to kick it that many times !!
I was like a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. 😂 thanks for watching.
you ever find out those carb idle settings? Been lookin around and cant seem to find anything about it. I just skrewed around on mine untill it sounded good lol.
That seems like the best plan.
@@motorcyclerewind From my trial and error, It seems 1 1/4 turn on air speed works best for starting, then I adjusted the throttle screw till it idled good starting at 1 turn
Those alarm batteries are also good as permanent replacements for any bike as long as it does not have electric start, they can't deliver the juice for an electric starter, for everything else they are golden.
I have had one in my 305 Dream for a couple of years now. I only use the electric starter. To be fair that is the only electric start bike I have with an alarm battery. Not a big enough sample size. 😂
Be very careful with that kickstart the shaft can break off .Finding a replacement for that is a mission and changing the shaft requires a total engine strip down Just had to do a C110 (1962) same engine good plan to use the starter rollers
Good call on the kick start lever. I forget I have the starter rollers!😂 trying to keep my right leg strong.

That's what I learned to ride on when I was 5
That’s awesome. These motorcycles are cool but the stories are way cooler. Thanks for watching.
Wire wheels ruin plugs . Best to clean with map torch.
Thanks for the tip. Thanks for watching
Cool!
Thanks for watching.
I have a S65 with original Ignition Coil mark Sumitumo 1965..
WOW I love finding these original factory markings. Thanks for watching
Why the gas mixed with oil? Is it a two stroke?
First start in many years. Just to lubricate the cylinder a bit. Thanks for watching.
@@motorcyclerewind ok that's what I was thinking. Smart move 😃😃
My bike have the kines copy of the Honda cub engine on and its a 125 cc
Awesome. There are so many engine options that just bolt on. Thanks for watching.
Motor doesn't sound so bad, but would be better with a poker card clothpinned against the spokes.
You got that right. Thanks for watching.
