The two marker lights on the LM 170s are not usually on at the same time, headlight + opposite marker light is normal for both day and night running, see th-cam.com/video/FFzAPO8cmVU/w-d-xo.html for multiple examples. You might like to re-programme your 170.
Great video! Your demonstration of the lighting would've been better served in a darkened room as I'm sure you know. I'm currently awaiting the arrival of my Class 350 Desiro ('Apollo' Silver) from the U.K. to join my Pendolino Class 390, Super Voyager Class 221 and my S Stock London Underground that arrived last week as I build my OO scale collection. +Redfern Model Railway Chinese quality control sucks. What do you expect from folks who live half a world away who have never seen this shade of green of this train in their lives? Unless there is a British person in quality control in their factory, no one there knows they blew it.
