1. Ragnar plus choppy friends entering via drop-pod. 2. Murderfang, because murder, 3. Canis Wolfborn with TWC. 4. Arjac Rockfist deep-striking with a squad of Wolf Guard Terminators.
Being interested in starting a new wolf army I have found the video really helpful for what units to be looking at after I have built the combat patrol, thank you.
My favourite ones are Lucas the Trickster + Blood Claws + lieutenant , Wolf guard pack leaders and long fangs. Long fangs can do very well with oath of moment.
For me blood claws + Ulric are top pick. Last time i used them they took a full Cannis IK just using lance stratagem. 36 attacks rerolling everything (at worst wounding on 5+) 3 powerfist blows (6 if you include a wolf guard) and 6 more from ulric (S7 FP2 D2). you can leave some attacks to add 2 meltas. For 210 you are killing everything and making a good mass. Just works for me.
Sounds nice, but unfortunately we can't put enhancements on an epic hero. But yeah, my first thought was similar Ragnar+frost weapon but with assault intercessors
I prefer Ragnar in A.Intercessor unit. Moving from S9 to S8 is not that important, Also this unit struggle to wound. Intercessor fix the issue really really good is you use them to zone one objective. For me works really nice just 5 intercessors waiting behind obscure and if enemy decides to expose something value in range just go for it. 165 points can take down full custodes unit if use with lance.
I have been playing Vlka Fenryka since the start of 6th Edition. For me the two signature Units in the Index are firstly TWC. At their current point cost they just bring so much stats point for point its hard to not take them. Compared to units like Bladeguard which are the same points the difference in stats is just crazy. And secondly Logan because of his "Waaagh" like ability. I'm not a big fan of the sled thou, at 20 Points more you get a Logan on foot who cant be shot of the board before you use his ability if he stats in deepstrike and a Wolflord on TW who may not hit as hard as logan but has a much smaller footprint and gives the TWC even more stats in form of movement. Shout out to Wolfguard Terminators which are better then the codex compliant ones
I feel like the thunderwolves wargear options should be changed to for every 3, one can carry a thunder hammer, power fist, etc. I feel like that would help make it just stlightly more fomidable and having some anti tank options.
Actually the best TWC leader now is Battle Leader on TW, lieutenant equivalent. He brings extremely needed Lethal Hits to the table, as well as magnificent (but once per game) reactive move p to d6 and into engagement range, which can hide his unit from all other shooting in this phase and combos perfectly with Stormlance reactive move strat.
I'd still go heirloom personally, but that's because in my experience the only place you want the TWC is in melee so may as well make them as good as possible in that situation! :) Sorry for the late reply!
What are you top 5 Space Wolves Units in 10th Edition?
1. Ragnar plus choppy friends entering via drop-pod. 2. Murderfang, because murder, 3. Canis Wolfborn with TWC. 4. Arjac Rockfist deep-striking with a squad of Wolf Guard Terminators.

Learnt that Logan gets the +1dmg buff from TWC. So thanks. Running Logan on the new stormlance detachment for advance and charge plus re-roll charge
No problem at all! Yeah the Wolves in the Stormlance sound pretty scary indeed! I hope they're working out well for you! :)
Ragner with Frost fang attatched to a squad of Blood Claws. Frost weapon enhancement, and charging about the map gives him MASSIVE melee attacks.

I miss when they could take a mix of TH/Frost Claws/Power Swords and the like, it was such a cool Unit back in 6/7th!

Now Im sure that I will buy some fenrisian Wolves, Logan and Canis to my army🐺
I hope they work out well for you! :D
Björn + Iron priest tends to be my go to combo
What do you recommend for the sergeant of the Thunderwolf cavalry? Shield and pistol? Or heirloom still with shield?
I'd still go heirloom personally, but that's because in my experience the only place you want the TWC is in melee so may as well make them as good as possible in that situation! :) Sorry for the late reply!
I'd love to own the great wolf! But he's pushing $100 at times.
And if you use the stormlance Detachment you'll just wreck!
Since the terminators got updated do you think i should hold off on buying terminator characters? Mainly Logan Grimnar and Arjac Rockfist
dont forget Canis can also lead fenrisian wolves xD
And then you go up against a space marine, vehicle, army, and get destroyed
